4.5 Stars. Quiet, cozy restaurant. Friendly staff. Very good food and LOTS to choose from. Personally, I think the menus are overwhelming. I almost always order the bentos or sashimi over rice. GoGo Japan doesn’t offer katsudon, tonkatsu, or a few other traditional Japanese dishes I like. A few years back I tried the yakisoba. Big mistake. For traditional Japanese sushi rolls I go to Kyoto’s Japanese Market off Greenbrier in Oceanside. On Fridays and Saturdays. Very authentic. As for GoGo Japan, it’s one of the only Tri-City area restaurants I will frequent for Japanese-style food.

We drive almost 50 miles to get sushi here. Just because of their Butterfly Roll.

Very cute little restaurant. The service was great and the proportions better than I was anticipating.

Like the prices it was affordable and like the food. I like the hand roll combo they offered to customize the hand rolls The service was okay. The atmosphere was okay. But I couldn’t get over the loud noise maybe it was the vent. It wasn’t neurodivergent friendly for those who are sensitive to noise and I had my headphones on it was still loud.

I have been coming here for almost 2 decades, and it breaks my heart that it has gone so far downhill. My family and I waited for 15 minutes for the last table, and when it was our turn, it took an additional 10 minutes yo even get recognized that we were waiting. Then, a random person walks in and then into the kitchen, talks to the staff, and just skips the whole line of people patiently waiting. I say to the server/host that I wanted that table. I was flat out ignored. I grabbed my family and left. I will never be back. I urge you to save yourself the headache and find another sushi as there are plenty of other options in the area.

Wonderful. One of the best bento boxes I've ever had, if not the best!

Sushi was good. The fresh fish rolls were good. Place is on the smaller end and prices are reasonable for what you get.

Ordered pork katsu curry through uber eats. Had a piece of plastic in the curry. The pork was half the portion size I expected and dry and flat

GO GO JAPAN AND BENTO was pretty GO GO GO. The staff was pretty good and fast. The food was decently priced for the portions that you got. The miso was pretty MISO good.
The Wasabi is not guac, so don't go and scoop up some with a tortilla chip or anything like that.
OK
Bye
