Love this place! Great prices and SO yummy! We can order and it is still hot over 20 miles away. Our favs are the kung pao beef and special chicken! But everything we have had is so good. Small indie sitting area but a nice area outside as well!

The food is delicious. I drive an hour to pick up their food. I just had a birthday party and I ordered all my food from them. Easily the best Chinese restaurant in San Diego County. The place doesn't look like much but I order take-out. At least it's clean. The service is a bit gruff. The lady behind the counter snaps if you ask a question. I asked about a to-go menu and she responded like I had asked a bad question. Lol. I'll forgive anything they say if they keep up with the good food.

I had kung pao shrimp and husband had shrimp chop suey for lunch, it was way too much food & it filled the void. I don't know if I'd rush back there again anytime soon it was just okay for me .You can only order at the counter and then there's tables to sit at. I had it with the hot and sour soup was really tasty husband got egg drop soup pretty uneventful.

My goodness this is got to be a hole in the wall . Loco have a most terrific place to get a great bite to eat. The serving size was perfect not to much and most definitely not a small amount. With tables pleated in the courtyard or in-house dining . The fountain drinks was a classic touch to get what feels right and help yourself. They also had the perfect spicy and savory on each table to add a pinch of the way you like it. Awesome ! The staff was more than friendly and the cook's did phenomenal job in making your dining an excellent experience. It didn't take them long to have my order but it is differently worth the wait. Keep up the amazing job . House special crispy chicken a slam dunk .

This is the first time I got bad food here. I ordered 2 lunches to go. I had my favorite sweet and sour pork. It was edible but the pork had a very strange aftertaste and the white rice was dry - what my mother would have called cardboard rice. The other meal was moo goo gai pan and my friend had asked if fried rice could be substituted for the white rice. But instead of getting fried rice the cook gave her white rice drenched in soy sauce. That was really bizarre! And the chicken in her meal was shriveled and very unappetizing.
I checked the reviews after seeing the food and the recent ones seemed to be as many good as bad. Several reviews mentioned that the Great Wok has a new owner. I really hope that our bad meals were just a fluke. In a couple months I will give it one more try and hope that the food is as good as it has been in the past.
