I was genuinely excited to come here after reading all of the wonderful reviews previous customers have left. I’m straight up disappointed after eating here for a few reasons.
First off, the service was great! The ladies that take your order are super wonderful and nice people, definitely have a good working attitude, shows that they really care.
Moving on to the food, it was quite a surprise. Two of the fish and chips out of the three barely had fish inside, it was 80% empty, just absolutely hollow inside. A couple of the other places I’ve tried have a LOT more fish inside let alone they tasted better. Clam chowder was a bit thick and a bit salty, the fries were nice. Other than that, it just wasn’t worth the steep price of almost 70 bucks for two individuals. Please add more fish inside your fish and chips 🙏

Went there for lunch we got the captain special with comes with two fish two shrimp and a side dish we got the salad. We saw a sign on the way in that says they're now using avocado oil I'll tell you that was a big mistake that was the greasiest fish I've ever had and the fish inside is so shrunk up you can take several bites and you getting just the coating. Salad was packed with tomatoes way too many and pretty limp. It was much better before the owner passed away

I love seafood and I love that this place is right in the marina. I visited on a Friday while strolling around the Oceanside marina. First time here and a very positive experience. The menu has daily specials, for Friday it was the sampler platter for $23 (if I remember correctly). The fish and chips were super fresh but could had used more seasoning. Very casual, friendly staff.
