Harney Oceanside & Lounge

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Harney Oceanside was fantastic! The sushi was amazing—especially the Flaming Lip roll, which was hands down my favorite. We also had the teriyaki bowl and the salmon bento bowl, and both were delicious and very well portioned. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were great for the quality of food you get. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to. Highly recommend! 🍣🔥

I had ordered just a rainbow roll since it was lunch time and it was excellent and large enough to really split with someone. Would definitely go back.

Food is always great. I've literally never had a bad roll here. This is our all-time favorite sushi spot.

We have gone here many times and have had great service before- last night was the worst service we have ever received at any restaurant. The waitress clearly did not put in our hot food items and when questioned about it ( after waiting 45 mins from the time we ordered) she claimed the kitchen was behind- there were MANY open tables and other customers who had received hot dishes that ordered after us. She did not check on us once after our sushi rolls were delivered to our table, then we had to go find her to see where the hot food was, even after that the manager brought our hot foot out and the waitress never came back too check on how our food was. They took 25% off our bill when really that isn't much seeing how we had ordered so many drinks and waited a hour for our food- our bill should have been half of what we paid at MOST. The manager did not even come back to see how our food was. It was such bad service we don't think we will ever go back.

Overall, everything was great. Only reason for not being 5 Stars is because we had a reservation at 7pm and arrived at 6:55 but didn't get seated until 7:20. And to top it off the hostess sat a couple ahead of us, that had arrived 10 min after us.

Wonderful atmosphere and the fish is always buttery in texture. We had a couple of cuts that were not ideal on the nigiri, but overall the food was great.

Bad bad bad.. everything about it was poor. Service, food, atmosphere.. don't believe the other reviews.. it was really bad. Save yourself the trouble. Worst sushi I have had in a very long time.

Food was underwhelming. Found the rolls and samplers to be pretty flavorless. Also way too dark inside. Staff was nice tho. Honestly the only thing keeping this at 3 star review instead of a 2 star.

Overall a completely forgettable experience.

The food at Harney was excellent, but the server was nondescript and the music was mind-numbing and unpleasant (noticed that a number of reviewers have mentioned the latter such that you think this might be taken into consideration and changed).

Food was good and they had some interesting rolls. The nigiri was particularly good. It was very noisy, we weren't a fan of the live DJ.

Great sushi and atmosphere 👌 will definitely be going back

I will always come here for sushi when I visit my family from outta state. Went on Tuesday evening: host was quick to get our table of 6 accommodated, waitress and staff in general are always so sweet....the spicy garlic edamame is ☝🏽 and the Sea Spider roll was life-alternating--straight up transcendental🤤💫 the quality of the buttery yellowtail nigiri was just 🤌🏽✨ My dad gets the chefs special/dealers choice and they make it sing every time 😇🙏🏽 The fried rice and bento box for kids is worth praise as well. Obviously I'm a big 🪭
