The food here is super greasy and, to be honest, not all that good. Quality needs some work, and definitely some customer service etiquette training!

Enjoyed some breakfast tacos. I didn't get the best pictures or pictures on all of them, but I had zero complaints.I loved the green sauce and the fresh tortillas.
Parking is pretty atrocious here though. So be prepared if you're going at peak times.
Everyone was extremely friendly. It's a great spot.
Amazing fries. I'll try and come back to get something else and write a better review. Breakfast burritos (?) were really tasty as well.
We sat in the patio. The brisket was surprisingly good and the beer was cold. Good place to take your kids. Margs are good too - get a double.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Laidback vibe, eco-conscious and sustainable practices/sourcing, we tried the Tijuana Panther, Forth Worth, and Potato tacos. Forth worth was our favorite, had to go back for another, with the potato taco being a close second. Decent size, flavor larger than life, fresh ingredients (flour tortillas housemade), and kind yet swift service. Can’t wait to get the appetite back to return
Amazing tacos and atmosphere, great model of Texas tacos!

Had a great time here last week. The staff was friendly and had great recommendations.
Food was really good but the service took it above and beyond. Wiki made sure I knew what was good and hooked it up with some nice service. Very charming guy.

As a vegetarian - I stopped in here for lunch while my family was next door for burgers. I’m blown away by how great the potato taco was! It was different than your usual potato taco, as the potato is more flattened to the tortilla instead of cubed. I thought it was super cool and different. Larger tacos, not street-taco sized. I definitely thought the price was fair. I truly couldn’t stop talking about how great this place was and can’t wait to come back!

Loved the stickers on the tacos and that the tortillas are homemade alongside the salsas. The queso was ok. Wish they had cactus and other veggies as options as well as agua frescas like hibiscus. Will have to return to try the salted caramel cookiel. Enjoyed the drinks and sitting on the patio on a Saturday at 8 am listening to Willie Nelson.

Wow! We have tried to give Home State so many chances. My husband and I have ordered migas almost every weekend for months. The recipes are delicious, but the staff do everything they can to screw it up. I've had my Andy's presented with the eggs missing! Today they forgot the jalapenos. The on-line ordering system and the app no longer allow you to add the extra goodies that make their menu items special. So, we had to go in and wait for our to-go order. The place was ridiculously overstaffed and most of them were working at less than half pace. I fear they won't last because it's so mis-managed. Shame too, because it could be SO good! Back to Beach Break Cafe we go!
