Menu is all vegan. Some pastries aren't vegan. Great food. Cozy and cool ambiance. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-08

Great local coffee spot! Super friendly staff. Can’t go wrong with their cold brew and caramel macchiato. Pastries looked amazing as well.

HATE HATE
The time was 10:17 am on 6/7/2025
I ordered one cappuccino with almond milk and two shots. My buddy ordered a chi latte. we waited a half an hour on I looked at the receipt I was only charged for one drink when I order two drinks ..Also when I requested a refund The manager asked if I order toast I told her I didn’t order toast and she said I was being rude..

I was very clam about the situation, she was not trying to make things right So I requested a refund and she kept on giving me the runaround and two find out my drink was never made..

Best coffee shop in Oceanside. I love the new decor and the food is still as delicious as it was in 2018 when I did my last review.

This place was so cute! Delicious breakfast sandwich (wouldn’t even know it was vegan) and caramel macchiato. Felt like cozy, even being so far away from home for me.

Staff should use temperature gauge so they can fulfill requests for extra hot latte. Cuz usually it’s barely hot. Thanks.

Cute coffee house. Nice employees. Baked goods are distinctive and really good. Lots of different coffee drinks (of course) but a full selection of high quality loose teas as well. The location isn’t the greatest for tourists as it’s not near anything else but if you are driving or don’t mind a little walking you will be happy you did.

I really wanted to love Jitters Coffee—it’s got a chill atmosphere, good vibes, and it wasn’t overcrowded. The comfortable décor and mellow playlist make it the perfect spot to hang out and sip a coffee…if you’ve got time to spare.

I ordered their breakfast sandwich (menu price + tax = $20), opting for the “real” version with cheddar and sausage since the rest of the menu is vegan. After ordering, they came back to say they could do real cheddar but not real sausage—so I ended up with genuine cheddar and vegan sausage.

Speaking of slow: despite the café being pretty empty, it took a whopping 25 minutes to get my one sandwich. The staff were friendly and apologetic, but if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t your place. That said, if you want to chill, don’t mind paying premium prices, and are into vegan-forward menus (or just love real cheddar), Jitters is a cool spot to unwind—just plan ahead.

I’ve tried every coffee shop in Oceanside and can safely say Jitter’s has the best coffee! Also, they have amazing baked goods as well as really great vegan breakfast options. I would highly recommend giving them a try…you won’t be disappointed!!!

The coffee was good but paid more than expected from the menu. Pre covid prices listed … Update your menu so customers know what they are paying when they order.

If you want an original Oceanside coffee shop experience, go here! The coffee is exceptional and the vegan food is incredible! However, the owners are truly the highlight! They do a Taco Tuesday night once a month that's not to be missed!

Vegetarian options: Most of the food options are vegan.
