They didn't have a reservation ready when we got there. Food was cold when it came out. We had to send back two plates. They didn't even offer a discount after that. Would never go back ever.

I had the clam chowder which was delicious. However, you must really like a lot of potatoes and clam chowder to enjoy this. The service was good. We also have the cooked shrimp dish as an appetizer. What you really paying for is the view in the ambience of being near the ocean

This was a nice place! My kids had lobster tails, the hubby had fish & chips and I had fish tacos. The tacos were delicious! Lobster was yummy too! Pretty good fish & chips. We weren't a fan of the crab cake though. And it took quite awhile to get our food. We would definitely come back 😁

We must have been sitting under the air conditioning because it was extremely cold. It was so cold that the food came out cold. We had very poor service. It was slow and it was hard to flag down a server. It was my cousin‘s 77th birthday party and a Party of 10. She ordered cake and they couldn't find a candle. I love Joe's crab shack in Pacific Beach and wet there all the time. I've also enjoyed the one in Newport Beach. That's why I planned a birthday party at Joe's, but I'll never do it again.

This restaurant was once a Chart House. Sadly it has been turned into to a ridiculous tacky mess. My jaw dropped! John Creed has officially turned in his grave!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was truly exceptional 10/10. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the celebration feel extra special. We ordered the seafood boils, which were fantastic! The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the portions were generous. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to make the boils a bit juicier to really soak up all those delicious spices. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for both the food and the hospitality!

Joe's is always fun - but this time some of our food was less than great. Really dry crab and really squishy battered fish. It's disappointing when you are paying a premium price.

Food was always good and taste but this time it was very crunchy and it was chewy kind of hard to brake. The server was awesome, great and friendly as attentive. Would likely return again when visiting, parking is a bit hard to get specially because your next to the boats. Elevator was out of service as well. The view is perfect and loved it.

The best bartender ever made up for cold clam chowder and garlic bread. To be fair.......it was, right before closing which, is why my party of three got soup and garlic bread and drinks.
