My in-laws took us here when we were visiting. Based on the appearance of the outside and knowing my in-laws' penchant for refusing to spend one penny more than necessary, I expected this restaurant to be a bit of a dive. Instead, it was delightful. Excellent food, interesting choices, beautiful presentation, attentive service and a stunning view! AND reasonable prices! Win, win, win, win, win.

Great food, cool atmosphere, good prices. They have a nice happy hour upstairs and the beer is ice cold. Bonus is the house salads are delicious if you want to drink and eat healthy!

Whenever I want to treat myself I drive up to Oceanside to Jolly Roger from San Diego. This venue always hits a home run in food quality, location and solid drinks..plus wonderful barkeeps. Great views of the harbor from the bar area. Ambiance looks more New England than California. Plan to spend my birthday there come July. Obviously recommended!

Sitting right on the marina, this restaurant made our trip from LA to San Diego more enjoyable!! The food was delicious and priced about what was expected!! We will try to return another day!

I really enjoyed my burger and lunch at this restaurant. The food was a good quality, the environment was fun, but the view was excellent out over the harbor. The restaurant was a bit chilly and I'd recommend a sweater if it's colder than your comfortable with outside, but otherwise I loved the ocean-themed decor and fun atmosphere. To get to this restaurant you'd have to drive a bit around the harbor, but it's worth the time considering the distinct harbor atmosphere. Bring your family here.

We went there twice to eat since the majority of us liked the place.I would recommend going here for breakfast more than dinner even though the view is lovely at sunset .If you walk around the building to the back it's a nice way of waiting for your food by getting pictures on the dock.

Wonderful harbor views, Great menu with lots of different food choices. Not as expensive as most Fish venues. Loved our very knowledgeable server. Food tasted fresh and .....you've got to try the Jack Daniel's bread pudding!

Entering you are asked were you want to sit like most places. I’m overweight and hostess could see that and chest is well endowed. She knew booths were not for heavy set people but had me try them out. Embarrassing as people watched. Then Rafael, our waiter, ignored us until he had know option but to take our order. We were served after lots of people who came in well after us were eating. If you like clam chowder but don,t really want clams or potatoes, enjoy cause that is what you get. I like clams and potatoes, so, big disappointment. My sons enjoyed their meals, which I, grateful for. Took a long while to get the check as others were cashed out, we were still ignored. Don’t recommend this place.

Took my mother-in-law here last week. Got a booth overlooking the harbor which was a nice add. We all had some sort of mahi mahi and it was very good. Drinks are strong and good as well. Glad this Jolly is still around!
