We shared the daily special (chili verde with beans, rice, tortilla & a drink. Very generous portion of delicious food. We are in and their dining room was very chilly.

I typically don't like leaving reviews but for this restaurant I did the exception just because I don't want other people to have the bad experience I did this restaurant is the definition of not true Mexican food if what you're looking for is authentic Mexican food this is not the place to go the number one sign should've been the guacamole that was avocado salsa, not guacamole sorry just being honest

The best chicken soup in town. The flour tortilla was yummy too. I haven’t tried anything but the soup which is perfect for a cold day or when you’re under the weather. The cashier is very sweet.

Not real mexican food, asked for guacamole and they came out with a blended version of a salsa that tasted nothing like avocado, chilaquiles did not even have cheese of any kind they were more of a version chips with salsa taste and the enchiladas were made with a salsa that was not green or red to be honest dont know how they have managed to stay in business.

Love Jorge's Oceanside! The staff at this location is always so super nice and polite. The food is consistently delicious. We do pick up at least once every other week and they don't disappoint.
Excellent! Food 5 stars! Service 5 stars!We ordered the 6 beef taquitos to share. The guy taking our order was extremely friendly and helpful with menu items and info. The taquitos were crunchy and the meat was tender. They're topped with lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and tomatoes . They also come with onions and cilantro which we left off. We also ordered a side of beans which tasted fresh and homemade.Definitely returning!

I was a bit skeptical coming in because i'm a vegetarian and sometimes Mexican places may not have enough for me.... But Jose was so so sweet, I decided to stay... And we were able to figure Out something good for me and I were so pleased. I got a bean and rice tostada... I also got some of their yummy cabbage on the side, And to top it all off was there salsa which made it a,perfect hit! If they take care of me like that always I'll be a regular!Thanks also to Dorothy.Dietary restrictions: While they didn't have grilled vegetables, they had enough vegetarian food for me and food that was cooked in non animal oil.

Hmmm...I'm having a really hard time deciding how many stars to give here so let's break it down.Service 5/5 -sweet young girl took our orderSoft tacos 2/5 -tender meat but really underwhelming in flavor and toppings Crunch tacos 3/5 -pretty solid but bordering on too crunchy and guacamole could have been more flavorful Chicken soup 4/5 -nice clear broth with fresh ingredients like avocado added. It was a little salty for my taste but I can see it really hitting the spot when you're not feeling well. Bean and cheese burrito 4/5 -my only complaint was there was more tortilla than filling, the beans and cheese had a nice flavorFlour tortilla came with soup 5/5 -hot, steamy, fresh and delicious All in all this is a bit of a divey spot but I expected better divey Mexican food. I think they really are a 3 1/2 based on my experience today but I'm rounding up because it seems like a family establishment that is under new ownership. For now 4 stars and will be back to try other items with the hopes of them proving themselves worthy of it.
