for the record I received these as a gift!
they were delicious, but make sure you also take a bite with the mindset that they are a health food item ! so they are obviously going to taste very different than your typical Krispy Kreme!
they are giving like dense, banana bread carrots cake vibes, fiber vibes, with nice flavors, loved the strawberry cheesecake, churro, and pumpkin, really did not care for the chocolate one, would go back and buy more of other flavors for sure though

I like the “donut” part but the icing & toppings have an OVERWHELMING taste of fake sweetener. I bake with oats & I don’t use sugar so I was excited to try this but it was a complete waste of money.

This shop is so cute. The donuts were good for what they are, but if you're expecting them to be exactly like a wheat flour donut, you will be disappointed.

So we placed an online order last Thursday to have some Doatnuts shipped to WA but they have nothing on their website that stated a shipping schedule. They do have a track your order function but when we entered the confirmation code it said there was no order found. We called and left a voicemail to see if we could get an ETA and emailed but didn’t hear back on either. Yesterday we were able to get ahold of the shop and we were concerned that after 5 days of crickets that it might have been lost and we were getting ready to flag it as a false transaction with the credit card company and made the mistake of telling them that. They told us the order was ready to be shipped and we were thrilled. They then called back later and cancelled the order. We live in WA but have been into the shop twice and had great experience both times, which is what made us want to order some to be shipped but this is very disheartening.

I absolutely LOVE to support a small business but I don't think I'd call this family small lol. It's also a woman owned business too. She's killing it!! These are some absolutely delicious creations. You could tell she truly puts her heart and soul into these donuts. Plus I have to say as someone who has diabetes and can't normally can't enjoy traditional donuts. It's great there's a sugar free AMAZING treat I can enjoy. These with a ice cold glass of milk or when I want to sin my soul.. Rite Aid butter pecan ice cream with the coffee or mint n chip crumbles of the triple chocolate OMFG YES!! Definitely can see this in multiple locations in Southern California cause of what they offer, the quality, the care of the product and I think they would do great in Del Mar or La Jolla. Now I want to make this clear this isn't your traditional describe these lite, fluffy, not overly sweet but right and honestly they a piece of little heaven. I normally went to go get 1-2 but cause I was in a good I got some for my coworkers. They absolutely enjoyed them and they were like.. so when are you going to bring more in? LOL that's what I get for spoiling them right.. Probably should'nt call out another elite member but the Amanda review definitely on some kind of drugs. It is almost a laughable review ..or maybe she's a angry ex? Sorry had to add that part. I personally had a great natural customer service experience. It wasn't a fake overly happy person but chill and friendly. More chatty than most donut shops. Just randomly thought of all the pink and wanted to yell DIPSET lol cause if you know CamRon use to wear all pink. I might need to get a hoodie next time. In addition just a little mix it up advice wine from Bev and these sweet treats (it's love)

The shop itself was fun and full of pink color, seemed great at first and was excited to try them but I took one bite and had no desire whatsoever to take another. Definitely not your typical donut, the texture was awful like a sponge and had no flavor but SUGAR!!! I ended up just going across the street to Krispy Cream and got a regular donut. It was MUCH BETTER I could not even compare the two, norwould I even considered the "healthier" one a donut.

With health foods there is usually a degree of difference in taste, texture, etc. but with doatnuts I can say there really wasn’t. We tried one of each flavor available and they were all moist, icing melted in your mouth, and they were all a delicious treat without sacrificing your diet. Would highly recommend it as your new guilty pleasure.
