By far the best Chinese food I have ever tried since I was little. Family owned business. This place brings me so much memories. It’s been here for more then 2 decades. I love the food here and customer service is great too.

Great price on 2 item combo for $8.50 including egg roll!

If you are looking for great taste, large portions and a reasonable price. This is the place. The Mandarin is my GO TO for Chinese food. I've been getting Chinese food from The Mandarin for over 5 years. They always bring it with large portions.

Pretty good spot for Asian food. Delivery was super fast, and they actually come to your hotel room door instead of making you come down to the lobby. Portions are plentiful and the prices are actually pretty cheap. Try the chicken broccoli or house fried rice, you won't be disappointed.

Worst stuff ever being sold as food! Inedible! Won't make the big mistake of buying food here again. Fried shrimp were all heavy batter. Beef and broccoli, hard tasteless mystery meat. Frozen, soggy pot stickers with awful tasting filling.

Wasn't very good at all. Food tasted very bland. The sauce spilled all over the floor when I opened up the bag. Edit: on top of that I got food poisoning. Amazing

Best Chinese food on the corner. I love coming here as it's cheap and delicious. Can't beat the prices and the food is made fresh. The cashier is really nice as well. (They also deliver for free if you live close by). No delivery fee which is super nice as you must spend a minimum of $20. I believe it's easy as I easily spend over $30 with friends and we always have leftovers!

This little restaurant I totally recommend it's like one of the best Chinese restaurant in Oceanside. They have the best House fried rice they give out really huge portions, the customer service is great. I always call my order in it's always ready when I get ready to pick it up it's always really friendly in there food is amazing I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately I won't be eating here again after finding out they reason they are closed currently is by the health department after a customer found a roach in their food. So yeah, eat at your own risk if you go here or stick with Panda Express. Aside from that I found their food only decent, nothing special at all & pretty bland.

DON'T EAT THERE! I ordered a few plates to go and when we were home half way done with our food, my daughter found a roach. I called the restaurant and they said they wouldn't refund because people use that excuse to get free food. DISGUSTING! I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!**UPDATE**The health department did an inspection and closed that place, they did find "activity" and they will need to comply and resolve "their issues" before they can open again.

We have become regulars here. We pick this spot over Panda Express, which is literally right across from them, any day. Price is right and portions are generous. We can feed our family of 7 for half the price of that of Panda Express. I prefer supporting this mom n pop place over the big franchise. Staff is super nice and they accommodate my kids request for no veggies in their food.

If you are from the San francisco bay Area this place will remind you of home. It is hard to find good authentic Chinese food in San Diego and of course you have to go to an obscure location hidden away like The Mandarin to get your fix. Prices are good, portions are large, history is long and the pork fried rice and sweet and sour pork are a great combination.

Some of the worst Chinese food I have eaten in years. We called to ask if the Pot Stickers were pan fried or deep fried. They told us that they were pan fried. Guess what? They were deep fried. The egg rolls weren't bad. The House Fried Rice was mostly chicken, a few pieces of beef and 2, yes, 2 shrimp. We are currently new to the area and will never call again.

If you want quantity this place is OK. The problem is that mass quantities of tasteless food is not value for money. You can, however, feed a family of four for forty bucks here and end up with leftovers.
