As a rule, I don't write reviews but this time I simply must. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday (he picked the place) and was excited to have brunch together on his special day. The place looked nice and we were seated promptly. The menu had plenty of interesting items and we tried the ahi poki and their chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the salsa tasted like bottled sauce (Pace picante sauce?) so it was simply nothing special. However, when the poki arrived, rather than in a salad arrangement, it came in a stack. No biggie as I've enjoyed it many ways so I grabbed a chip and dug in only to taste. . . nothing, there was no flavor. It was chock full of jicama and every bite tasted just like nothing. I couldn't believe it. Our server came back around and we sent it back and he quickly told us that what we would like is the coconut shrimp. Sooo away went the poke and we were left to sip on our drinks, which were quite decent by the way, and wait for the shrimp to show. Eventually, the coconut shrimp showed up and our server gave us a big double thumbs up when he put the plate down, certain we'd like these. However, they weren't good either - hot, yes, but little flavor. VERY disappointing. So here is my rating overall 1-5: Ambience; 3 (after we sat down we could see our booth was only half finished, weird) Staff: 1 (little energy not professionally dressed, just not a good experience) Food: 0 - enough said Drinks: 4 decent quality and taste After looking forward to a great meal full of interesting courses, we couldn't bring ourselves to order anything else, it just would have been a waste. And, no, I cannot see us going back. What would be the point?

We made a reservation for 5:45 hoping we'd avoid the rush and be out before 7:00 to get the baby home for bath and bed. The place was about half full when we arrived and a big wedding party came in AFTER us. We ordered and asked for the baby's food to come out asap. Well, almost and hour later the server came to apologize because they “just got a rush” as the wedding party was served BEFORE us. The baby was falling apart and we ended up just boxing everything and leaving. My husband was furious that we waited so long. The food was good so maybe we'll try again earlier in the evening next time.

See my review from June 14. Went back because liked it so much. This time had crab stuffed shrimp with mushroom risotto- excellent. My friend had lobster tail - again excellent. Only issue remain poor wine list and loud noises from loud motorcycles and cars - restuarant is open air which adds to ambiance but suffers from road noise.

Have not been to this restaurant in years and wanted to give it a try. The brunch was very good, only downside was how long it took to get our meal and it was not busy. Would come back again

Have been here several times, but finally doing a review. Love this place! Booth, bar, and front patio seating depending on your preference/weather. Both the food and the cocktail menus are high points. "Hello Sunshine" is my go-to cocktail - vodka with elderflower, passionfruit, and basil. Sounds overpowering, but it's a subtle mix. For dinner, we often start with the dry-rubbed wings - a mix of old bay, salt and pepper - so simple, but again, so perfect! Burrata salad is another favorite - we order this one over and over. Service is not just outstanding, there's a tell. The same servers have been there since we moved here last year - which is code for "my management treats me well and I like it here". Love finding a place with a happy professional staff. The owner is often on the floor checking up on things and chatting up customers - again, talk about positive signs! Highly recommended for anything from date night to a party.

It is a hidden gem in downtown O-Side. My regular joint is local tap house. But this place is very nice! The owners came out and asked us how our meal was and actually cared about how we felt about the place. Will go again.

Service was above and beyond. The food was yummy, and everyone was super attentive. We don't live here, but if we did we'd be back! Had a great time and very friendly even with young kids.

Just had lunch here with my family for my wife’s birthday, it was amazing! We got drinks and food & the kids menu was great. Our waiter was excellent as well, he checked on us throughout and brought everything we needed quickly. The vibe is great overall too!

Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for little kiddos, they have high chairs as well.

I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Master’s Kitchen on Valentine’s Day and would never return.

We had a 7:30 PM reservation and arrived on time, yet still had to wait to be seated. Service was incredibly slow from the start. We ordered two glasses of wine and an appetizer (meatballs) as soon as we sat down, but it took an entire hour just to receive the appetizer.

About 45 minutes into the wait, a waiter came up to my fiancé and abruptly asked, “Did you get the meatballs?” She said yes, thinking he meant if we had ordered them. A few minutes later, he returned and aggressively said, “I thought you guys got the meatballs already.” His tone was abrasive, rude, and confrontational—getting uncomfortably close to my fiancé, which scared her. Instead of checking with our server or the kitchen, he chose to confront us for no reason.

Immediately afterward, the manager came over to apologize, saying he was sorry for both the wait and the way the waiter responded. While I appreciated the apology, it didn’t undo the horrible experience.

We finally got our meatballs after an hour, but our actual entrées never arrived. At 9:15 PM—nearly two hours after we sat down—our waitress came over and told us our food would still take a while and actually recommended that we leave.

At that point, we had no choice but to walk out. They comped the meatballs but still charged us for the wine, despite the miserable experience.

And to make things worse? The restaurant wasn’t even busy.

On Valentine’s Day, of all nights, this was a complete disaster. I expected a nice dinner, but instead, we spent the night waiting endlessly for food that never came, dealing with rude staff, and ultimately leaving hungry.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend Master’s Kitchen to anyone—especially for a special occasion. Avoid this place.

I'll preface this with the acknowledgement that Valentine's Day is going to be busy. We accept that food will take longer, it's just the nature of the beast. We had reservation's. We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated immediately. About 10 minutes later, Ash introduced herself and said she would be our server. That was the last time we hear her voice again. It felt as if she was also avoiding eye contact. After 45 minutes, I hijacked another server. His people had food. Some of his people came in after us. Long story short, John took care of for the rest of the night and ensured we were attended to. Another guy came to fill my water and when I asked for no more ice, Ash appeared behind him and yank the carafe from his had and starting give it to other diners. He was a bit shocked, as I would be, so he just stood there perplexed. The entire time we were there (2hrs) she wove in and out of the table area, never making eye contact, as if we weren't even there. I will never go back or recommend this place. When customer service IS your job, and you have the inability to do it, you need to find another job. One where interacting with people is at a minimum. Thank you, John, for your professionalism and empathy. I cannot say enough about you put in effort to ensure we were somewhat satisfied. YOU deserve her pay and tips for last night.

Great drinks and the food was terrific. My wife and I were visiting from WA and chose Masters for our Valentine's dinner spot. I would definitely recommend it. The cocktails were tasty and the menu selections were delicious.

Our food was delicious. The delicately sliced stuffed beets flavor bombed w/ the greens & vinaigrette. My partner enjoyed a big burrito. My main dish with clouds of fluffy eggs Benedict on homemade biscuits served with home fries. Even the leftovers gave me a true delight. I demolished our waffles with fresh fruit and a cinnamon whip

Dietary restrictions: With a blended menu my restrictions were easily avoided.

Wheelchair accessibility: Nicely arranged, not overcrowded tables seem chair friendly.
