There were six of us for dinner so there was a wide range of palates to please. We ordered appetizers, mains & desserts, along with beers & soft drinks. I checked loud because we sat outside during “rush hour”. Your experience at other times may be different. Our waiter was great. He took the time to explain the nuances of beers and dishes. The drinks & orders arrived quickly and efficiently. All six of us gave Mission Avenue not only a big thumbs up but also five stars. Go. Eat. Enjoy. Especially with friends!

Service was great. Our family of 6 (9yr old-55) all found great options and we had a great Sunday brunch at reasonable prices, served quickly by very friendly staff and was great food. Will definitely be back and will be one of our go to places for when friends and family visit town.

Never disappointed when I get the fried chicken salad. Very tasty. Bartender very helpful in determining what my friend would like as far as a mixed drink. Cheerful, attentive waitress too. All good.

We came with a party of 12 on a Sunday afternoon/evening. Our server was fantastic. Everyone in the family, from the vegetarian child to the (very NOT vegetarian) and the "I am not too hungry - just an appetizer for me" adult, everyone was happy with the menu options. And the food was great, as is the location. We were inside, but near the open wall so essentially on a covered patio. It was a beautiful Oceanside day, and walking distance to the beach, pier, etc.

Nice atmosphere for a bar and grill. Perfect for people watching. The food was okay. My wife had a hamburger that looked delicious and she said it was very tasty. I had the fried Chicken sandwich. It was very tender and juicy but had little flavor. I think I enjoyed the french fries and more. I had my eye on the porch shoulder. I should have followed my first instincts. Service was amazing. I'll probably give them another try only not with the chicken sandwich ?

Most things here are wonderful. HOWEVER the food is not the very best. Twice the burger has been not what I ordered and extremely dry. I ordered a pink center and it was not that at all. Also the flavor of the burger was not good. It was not even salted or seasoned at all.

Great experience all around! Have seen it busy frequently so knew it had to be good, but Sunday mid afternoon was ideal for my wife and me; low key, could talk easily, and great environment! Cheers!

Mission Avenue was just okay. We went on a Sunday afternoon at 2:00p and there were only 2 other tables occupied. The service was quick and our waitress was very kind and attentive. We ordered wings and brussel sprouts for the appetizer and the grilled cheese with tomato soup and braised short ribs for our entrees. The two highlights from our food order was 1) the brussel sprouts are something I highly recommend as they were delicious and you receive a large portion and 2) the braised short ribs were terrible. We had to send them back cause the taste was just not there. As mentioned earlier it was okay, but I don't plan on returning nor recommending this restaurant to anyone else.

The burger was good the fries were better. The Mexican Caesar salad was just ok. It wasn't large enough to be a meal. I asked for chicken with it but they only had chicken thighs which wouldn't have been good in a salad.
