We recently stopped in to treat a family member we visiting from Minnesota and they absolutely loved it as we thought they would. Definitely recommend the hot stone bowl if your dining in but getting to go is always just as good. The staff is always super polite and welcoming and the customer service is great. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Oceanside!

Mr Bibi is one of the best in the area. Bi bimbap done right and right in front of you with your choice of protein chicken, pork, beef, or tofu and plenty of healthy greens they bring the yummy flavors of Korea to OSide. Cute little restaurant with very friendly people ready to serve you hot or cold bowl (your choice). The place is clean with plenty of seating for a small group. If you're into Korean fast food give Mr Bibi a try, you'll be glad you did.

The hot bowls are sooo good. Taste is amazing and super delicious. Not super busy and pretty quick. Highly recommend!

I was skeptical that one of the top 100 places to eat in the US (according to Yelp) would be in Oceanside. A literal hole in the wall--it really is a Korean Chipotle or maybe better described as a Korean poke bowl place. Bibimbap is such a comfort food and the team here really welcomes you and makes you feel at home. A large operation this is not. Portions are on the larger side--I usually like the dol sot version (hot stone pot) but when next I'm in Oceanside, I'll get it regular--the temperature was just too hot!!! Absolutely delicious--highly recommend.

Ordered this for the first time when we stayed in San Diego and was not disappointed. My boyfriend ordered the bulgogi & fried chicken bowl and I ordered the bulgogi bowl. The service was quick and efficient.

The food was amazing! Authentic & fresh. 5/5 will dine again they give generous amounts of food with each purchase. Service was friendly, attentive and fast. Ambiance was nice and mellow, outdoor / indoor dining available there is a tv for news/ sports games One of the best spots in Oceanside ,one of the last mom & pop spots around

Mr. Bibi is an wonderful additional to Downtown Oceanside with its fast casual set up and healthy options. Ordering here is similar to CAVA or Chipotle where you choose a bowl option with your base, protein, and toppings. My favorite is to choose noodles over rice and to always get a fried egg on top. You can add Korean hot sauce (gochujang) once at your table. Each experience here, the food has been divine!

Sd native here, but don't go up to North County too often. I messed up by sleeping on this gem! Oooooh man, as a fan of Korean food, this place got me right in the feels! Super delicious. I got the dolsot sizzling beef Bulgogi bowl. I asked Mrs Bibi for "Korean style" combo of toppings. Sheesh this place shocked me with how good and authentic it was. Mr and Mrs Bibi, you guys are Korean rockstars! Two thumbs up for easily the best preparation of a Korean dish that I've tried outside of the Los Angeles area, orange county/Garden Grove, or Korea itself! If you haven't tried this place, you NEED to go! Get the stone bowl (costs two bucks extra but it's the best two bucks you'll ever invest in yourself)

If someone were to ask me what my favorite part of this meal was, my answer would just be "YES." Mr and Mrs Bibi really knocked it out of the park with this spot. I'm a SD native but don't make the trek up that far north county often. Oooooh man, I've been missing out! This place would shine and be king of bibimbap even on Convoy St. Genuinely delicious and seriously authentic. This tasted juuuuust about as good as a dolsot in downtown LA, or even in Korea. No joke, this is about as good as bibimbap gets. Ajuma definitely got that touch, her namools and Bulgogi were ON POINT. Mr and Mrs Bibi, I salute you! ~~

Mr Bibi and his wife always take care of their customers, meaning they give generous toppings and meat on their bowls, which is the best thing about them. Highly recommend getting your meal on a hot bowl to amp up that appetite and get that crunchy rice. Without the hot pot is fine too! Meat and toppings always fresh!

Ordered 5 bowls for the family-- 2 beef, chicken, and spicy pork with rice and everything on it. I like to keep it simple and less complicated with my takeouts especially when ordering for my family. If they don't like it, they can remove the items--- but I guess they must have really enjoyed their bowls because nobody complained and ate everything! I go to Oceanside every now and then and this place is on my fav places to grab food that's somewhat quick and easy. I thought I took pictures of the bowls , but I guess not! Oops!

Great establishment. The food is great, flavors all worked together phenomenally and was high quality. The portion sizes are well worth the price. The store is clean and well maintained. Despite being complex, their menu was easy to interpret, even for a first-timer like me. I highly recommend anyone in the area check this place out.

My husband and I came here on a Friday night. It was kind of busy but it also happened to be the first Friday of the month which is the city art walk so there were a lot of people in the area. We both ordered the hot pot ($2 extra) but worth it for the crispy rice! The rice comes sizzling in a hot stone and the bottom gets crispy which I love. You can also choose a classic bowl and take it to go. You order in a subway style line with several choices of base (fried rice, brown rice, white rice, or noodles), we both had fried rice. Next you choose your meat, there were several options. My husband had beef bolgogi and I had spicy chicken. Then you can choose from an array of veggies and toppings (fried egg, corn, cheese, pineapple, jalapeño, kale, potato, carrot, bean sprout, cucumber, kimchi, etc.). The sweet lady asked if we wanted sesame oil, it seems like everyone in line including us had sesame oil added. Then you can ask for sauce on the side or if you are eating there they will put the sauces on your table. I really liked the spicy teriyaki sauce and the spicy mayo sauce. Once you are done ordering they take your hot pot into the back and bring it out to you SIZZLING hot! They brought us each a fork and spoon, I also heard someone ask for chopsticks which they also have. The spoon works best for mixing and scaling the crispy goodness off the bottom of the stone mmmmm yummy. The inside of the restaurant is kind of small but they had a surprising amount of seating both inside and outside. They have a restroom outside true back, ask the front worker for a key. I didn't use it so I can't speak too much on that but it is available. They have fountain drinks, as well as some bottled soda, water, beer and soju. When you are done with your meal they have to go containers for left overs, and if you get the hot pot there is a shelf near the trash can to put your tray and pot. The portion size is pretty large. For smaller appetites or lunch you could definitely share. I will be coming back here to try the chicken strips they looked really good! The price is reasonable for what it is, but a little more on the expensive side. For 2 bowls (with extra charge for hot stone) and 2 fountain drinks it was $40... but so worth every penny!
