Ordered a sirloin cooked medium.
After 20 min it arrived gray throughout with grill lines that looked colored on with a permanent marker. I didn’t even have to cut into it to know it was not quality steak.
I cut into it, it was uniformly gray from edge through to the center.
Politely I showed the server and she immediately took it back noting that she told them “medium”.
Another 20 min wait and I got a medium rare steak that was gray lined but nearly blue on center.
I frustratingly kept this one and it turned out to be extremely bland as if the cook didn’t put a single grain of salt on it.
Extremely disappointed. The server offered a free desert but I wasn’t interested.
Never returning.
This is the best place to eat near the Oceanside Harbor. Eat the seafood. They have a Huge menu, but a lot of stuff isn't supposed to be ordered. They are not Cheesecake Factory, they just add random items to sooth the tourists, but the seafood is great. Thats what they are good at. Cioppino is great. The steamed clams, the seafood pasta. All great. Even the spinach dip is good. But don't order burgers or chicken or any other random American food dish, they aren't great at that, they just have those items to please everyone. just get the seafood. And thank me later.
Happy hour menu all day. Great views. Love it. The mussels and fish tacos are really good!
First time I have been here and now will be a place we make sure we go to when in town . Food was good service was amazing a beautiful little spot to eat outdoors. We were in for lunch didn’t want to get to full family of 4 decided to do family style and order stuff off Happy Hour menu to share and nibble on . Everything was good only complaint I’d have is I wouldn’t get the Caesar salad was $8 very small and plain nothing special. They did make amazing mocktails for our nephews that were with us .
We ordered the oysters, clam chowder, mahi mahi tacos, and swordfish entree. The food was not good. The oysters were served with a side of watered down vinegar and unappetizing floating onion cuts. The mahi mahi fish tacos were dry and hard. The swordfish and sides were bland. It could have been served in a cafeteria. We enjoyed the view but not the food. I wouldn’t eat here again or recommend anyone else to either.
I love coming here for happy hour. Most of the staff are very friendly. Had a weird interaction with Cassandra last week. I hope she was just having a bad day! Everyone is always so friendly, it was weird to see someone who looked like they didn’t want to be there, or rather didn’t want to be bothered with us. The happy hour menu is pretty limited if you’re a vegetarian but if you aren’t then there is a ton to pick from! Nice little seaside restaurant!
Great spot on the back patio for a sunset happy hour. Food and drinks ok but the service and views are amazing :)
Great spot on the harbor. Prices reflect the excellent location. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is tasty. I highly recommend the ahi nachos.

OK, where do I begin? I’ve been to this place many times before and always enjoyed it. I usually come with my aunt and my elderly mother and we’ve always enjoyed the food in the atmosphere. We are all discriminating diners and for what it has been it’s always been good, but This visit here convinced all of us never to return the food was very mediocre overpriced tasteless and did not meet up to our expectations from what we’ve had in the past either they’ve changed owners or changed shifts or just don’t care. The service was good. I feel sorry for the server who had to serve standard food to their customers at such a high price, I had the steak and vegetables. It was something out of the 1950s diners very boring very tough very plain my My mother had the fish tacos, which used to be good, but were really poorly put together and tasteless. The rice that was served with it look like it came out of a Rice-A-Roni commercial in the future we will be going to other eating establishments and ocean side restaurant is permanently off our list and should be avoided unless they read this and improve and bring it back to its former glory.

Horrible Experience
Service from Melissa was non existent as she acted annoyed with our presence. She was impatient with our drink order and food order, it wasn’t even busy. It was as if she didn’t want to be there. She straight had a shitty scowl on her face from start to finish. The Bald Manager brought the food, which one of the dishes was going to shared by two in our party. This clearly was not anticipated by him meaning it wasn’t communicated by Melissa or he didn’t care to look at the ticket. He kindly offered to bring an extra plate but it never arrived. My wife had to go to the kitchen to get one after 5 min of waiting. As my wife came back with the extra plate the bald manager (didn’t catch him name) followed her with his eyes focused on her butt as he just walked past us and no acknowledgment of his forgetting to bring the essential plate. Food was lukewarm at best and no presentation effort whatsoever was taken into consideration from the kitchen. Infact all the asparagus tips were missing on my dish as the veggies looked just tossed into the other food. As an Oside local who has been coming here for almost 2 decades it saddened me to have this aweful experience. I will never eat here again, and I will share this horrible experience on every local platform I can think of.
I worked in the F&B hospitality industry for decades and Melissa & Manager Palone should go back to telemarketing as anticipation, memory and even just a friendly smile are too much to ask for these two.
