We never came here for dinner when it was just Pacific Coast spirits because it always looked empty. But we popped in at one point and realized it was actually a pretty cool place to hang with great beer.
We learned that the owners of South Coast brewing took it over and they were redoing the menu. So we came in today and it was absolutely fabulous you guys. We had the chicken schnitzel and the Cajun pasta. I also had the best hazy beer of my life.
I really stand by these owners and definitely check out South brewing as well… great people and they do an amazing job. I really hope to see this place fills up and becomes a hot spot. Great people, great food, great drinks.
Nice space and appropriate music, but stop what you're doing right now and go get the Chimichuri Steak Sandwich. Wow!
I had the pleasure of dealing with Matt who provides EXCELLENT customer service. I was left with a great impression!!
Food needs some seasoning, toppings do not season the chicken on the tacos. Fish and chips ok. Croquettes, need some filler. When I bit into it, it was hollow and had some birria meat in it, lacks flavor also.
Chef Kate is exceptional! Food is full of flavor. We enjoyed the brussel Sprouts , Birria Croquettes are a must! The chimichurri Steak Sando was amazing. Next time I'm ordering the fish & Chips. Our bartender Manley makes the best old Fashioned and expresso Martini. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing in the Oceanside way. Can't wait to come back.
Great revamp. Alot of hospitality experience running the show now should see great things
Drinks are amazing! The service and employees are wonderful! But my favorite, my absolute favorite part is the pork belly on happy hour...$10... It's so freaking good
This has taken beer to art form
We got burgers and fries here and I must say we were all extremely impressed! The staff was very friendly. I also got one of their lighter craft beers and it was great! Wonderful spot to stop for lunch!
We’ve been to Pacific Coast Spirits and Kitchen a few times now. I think their happy hour is quite strong with the Pork Belly bites at a 10$ price point. The Mac and cheese is delightfully creamy and has a good mix of textures. The Brussels are crispy and well seasoned.
We tried brunch today and it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. I had the breakfast plate which had pork belly, two fried eggs, fried potatoes, and four pieces of sourdough. They didn’t have any real jelly (only a Serrano jelly from another dish) which was a bit disappointing with so much bread on my plate. It was a bit underwhelming as a dish. The 5$ Micheladas were good though.
My husband had the chicken and biscuit - the chicken was well seasoned, the batter was crispy. The biscuit was a bit dry and a little undercooked in the middle.
Our friend had the chilequilles - the texture was good, the carnitas were a necessary addition, and the sauce was a bit spicy / creamy. Overall about a 7/10.
Our first experience here was fabulous so we will give it another shot, but brunch was a bit mediocre for the expectation that I had from our first visit.
Dietary restrictions: It seems like you could sub a few things for vegetarians, but probably not great for gluten free people.
Parking: The lot is small but free next to the restaurant. There is also plenty of street parking.
Kid-friendliness: It would be okay to bring older kids here, but might not be great if it was busy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to be wheel chair accessible and handicap parking outside in the free lot.

This place has it all—amazing food, drinks, and vibe! The crab hush puppies were the perfect mix of southern flavor and local crab, and the hot honey chicken was hands-down better than Nashville. Don’t skip the caramel chocolate dessert—it’s unreal! Drinks are top-notch too—hard kombucha, craft cocktails, and weekly specials.
Shout out to Alicia for her awesome service—she made the night even better! Perfect spot for any occasion. My new favorite for sure!

We went there for the first time on Saturday before sunset. We were pleasantly surprised by the food! We had ahi tacos and gourmet Mac and cheese, excellent! We also had anejo and Blanco tequila, also very tasty! Our waitress was awesome! " Valerie" was extra cool aswell as the rest of the staff . We sat on the patio with our dog (big plus) . We met several other patrons . GREAT EXPERIENCE!
The location, service, and vibe was amazing. However, the food was bland. The vegetables didn’t have any flavor either. I attended an event today and decided to try out the food. The crowd was kind of busy so I’ll just say this was the “issue” with the bland food.

Great cocktails, bites, and staff. I was there for a large event and they had no problem handling us.
Parking: Park on the street instead of the lot because the lot is very small
