We went to a wedding here, this is was their first time hosting a wedding and they absolutely killed it. Beautiful venue with awesome customer service and amazing attention to detail. Big shout out to Opal who was the event planner, I recently went through planning my own wedding and Opal really stuck out to me as an amazing event planner. I would totally recommend Opal and the venue for an event

Ended up at Pacific Coast after attempting to get drinks at Sound of the Sea (see review) and got no help whatsoever. We were celebrating a birthday with a party of six and had just got done with dinner. We had 2-3 rounds of drinks and the Brussels Sprouts. Excellent drinks, service and good vibes within. Liked the seating as they have something for everyone, couches and comfy chairs, regular tables and high tops along with the bar. All around great time and we will be back

We've visited PCS multiple times in the past month alone because we appreciate the quality service (including table service), excellent happy hour, and some pretty great cocktails. In an era of counter service only and automated menus, PCS is a great throwback spot for beer, whiskey, food, and service. The building has an indoor/outdoor concept, with a big outside patio wrapping around from the main entrance to the Pacific Coast Highway. Multiple indoor seating options with a view into the distillery. Excellent whiskey.

The Crispy Brussels are good. Not sure how we spent $56 + tip on 1 beer, 1 cocktail and 1 order of Brussels.

Stopped by here on a Saturday mid-afternoon (2:30-3:30) to check the place out. Wasn't very busy, perhaps around 30% of capacity at most. Was on my motorcycle so didn't drink that much, just sampled a bit of their bourbon.Ordered a half pound of brisket. Pretty tasty and moist. I've been to some places where the brisket was dry and that is not how brisket should be. This was pretty solid.Really liked the decor and atmosphere on the inside. Well-chosen music playing at a reasonable volume. Went outside for a bit but because it's along the main thoroughfare it was a little noisy from the traffic. So when going back again with friends, I'll recommend sitting inside. Definitely will not hesitate to come back here again.

Tasted their food at “taste of San Diego” and was impressed. Took friends to the restaurant as a result and the service was horrible, and it wasn’t that busy (midweek). Food was marginal and not at all what we tasted at the event. Maybe when the owner is present it would get better?

I was very excited to make reservations for my birthday brunch here. This was my first time, but sadly was very disappointed. My girlfriends and I came for the bottomless mimosas, I only had 2 mimosas. Our server Megan was the sweetest, there was 8 of us. So I do understand if it was a lot, but it took 20 mins for us just to wait for another mimosa. Again, not Megans fault. We noticed there was only one bartender, but doesn't take much to make mimosas. As a brunch gal the service for bottomless was unacceptable. I was already disappointed. I had high hopes for the food, but my chicken sandwich was kinda burnt looking & not much meat in that piece of chicken, the garlic parmesan were at least good. All my other friends complained about their food as well. Atmosphere was beautiful though, just wish I had a better experience.

Had dinner here with a group and the service was painfully slow. Food was good but the night dragged on and I was afraid we’d spend the rest of our lives there.

Excellent food! Great ambience. Service is a little slow but they look genuinely understaffed. Will definitely be back as the quality of the cocktails and food was superb!
