We happened to walk by this place on our east to the Thursday market right next to it. There were many people eating inside and outside on their patio. We walked in to order a quick breakfast at the register. We found an empty seating and they brought out our meals. My breakfast sandwich was on a butter croissant and it was delicious! I think the croissant was an alternative since they ran out of their other bread, so I would recommend ordering with the croissant! The bacon inlet was cooked too perfecting! Over all, great service, great food and I would rely good again. I wish I would have ordered some bakery Items to go to try it.

Great service. I'm sure the pastries are good but I didn't get to try it. Came here for breakfast, but the food was mediocre. Smoked salmon benedict was okay. The salmon didnt have the smokey flavor and the biscuit didn't have the buttery taste. French toast was...bland.Great vibe.

Had the best brunch with my daughter here today. The wait staff was absolutely so kind & attentive. Every single item on my plate was completely perfect. They give practical servings and I still couldn't finish my plate even though I wanted to try. They have thheee most beautiful pastries too. I had the ABC omelette, house fries and a guava mimosas it was top tier and my daughter got the kids meal and she also tried to clear her plate even tho her tummy was full. We will be back without a doubt.

We weren't even interested in having any bakery treats but we drove past and decided to pop in to check it out for the next time. We decided to stay because everyone looked so happy and everything looked so good. Fabulous! Service was kind, patient and engaging. Tables were clean and so was the restroom. We were completely pleased with each bite. Coconut macaroon (not macaron), almond tea cake, thumbprint cookie w/ raspberry, and a madeleine.| Owners were hard at work which is very telling of their standards...high! I can not stress enough how fresh and delicious everything was. The prices are ridiculously fair. Thank you! This was the best part of our day trip. Also, a review from John H. is snobbish and condescending.

Wonderful find in Oceanside CA. We ordered the delicious Almond Tea Cake and a scone. The staff will make any of their coffee in decaf. My decaf caffe latte was really good. Really nice staff and good prices.

We love this place!! The food is always yummy. We're not from California but whenever we are in Oceanside we always go for breakfast (& we usually take some baked goods home for the afternoon too).

Just happened to pass by and stop. We had 4 different cookies all worthy of being sold in Porto's. If someone doesn't feel the same as I do then they should make their own cookies at home and never come back out.

This is such a great bakery! Every time I'm heading down to San Diego, I will try to come by and grab a few snacks. Such a good small business

The Petite Madeline bills itself as a Patisserie - but the pastry offerings are meager- and the pastries on offer are average; even once heated they were still cold inside- and the 'all day bun' was doughey - not flaky. The chicken and waffles eggs Benedict was good- but the chicken had the quality of something 'premade' - and the waffle is too sweet to my taste for a savory breakfast dish. Further - while the service was very pleasant, the cash register tip selection made a negative impression. It STARTS with 20%, then goes up to 25%. This is SO off putting, because this is a walk-up order counter where you also grab your own utensils and napkins. I've edited my review because i think i was reacting more to the on-screen tip request than to the actual food and experience.
