Love this place! I miss being able to see the Pier but the ambience is still really nice and airy! My Gingerbread latte was SO good and the poppy seed lemon muffin was nice and moist. Probably my favorite cafe in downtown Oceanside 🫶🏻

Coffee is above average, smoothies not so much. Lot's of seats. Not super clean. Dust and grime everywhere, especially if you look up—lights and plastic plants are filthy. Employee was okay although a little bit smarmy. So some good, some not so much.

Ambience is amazing. The open air, window seating was worth it all. I wanted a smoothie & ended up with the vegan sandwich which was delicious & ever so fresh.
Service was decent. It would have been nice to see & fee more friendly faces (service related) but I’m not complaining. The food came out perfect & was delicious. The Pineapple Pete Kombucha was tasty.
I’d definitely go back & try out the smoothies. Although I don’t drink coffee, they are well know for their coffee.
I ate the sandwich too quickly & forgot to take a picture lol.

What a disaster. There was a line of five people outside the bathroom at Pierview Coffee. Everyone was knocking and waiting, thinking maybe someone was just taking forever. Turns out the manager was in there — not only “cleaning,” but clearly on their phone, because we could all hear the conversation through the door.
No sign, no explanation, no courtesy. Just a bunch of paying customers left standing around confused and frustrated. It dragged on so long that someone in line actually had an accident. That should never, ever happen at any business, let alone one that serves food and coffee.
And if that wasn’t enough, the manager finally came out and actually had the audacity to complain about us knocking — then even got into an argument with one of the people who had been waiting! Completely unprofessional, rude, and embarrassing for everyone there.
Pierview Coffee should be ashamed. The manager’s behavior shows a total lack of respect for customers and basic professionalism. I won’t be coming back, and I’d warn others to think twice before spending their money here.
Great little cafe, coffee is amazing and food is delicious! Highly recommend the perfect breakfast sandwich!

My buddy and I are heading to every coffee place we can find in Oceanside this week. One shop each morning for 7 days. We came here for the coffee on vacation, and Pier View Coffee Co delivered. The classic latte was visually appealing and tasted great. The espresso is not very strong, some may love that, some may not. The location is great, the store was great, friendly atmosphere and employees. It’s pricey but very reasonable for coffee in Cali. 4 stars!

Came here for my caffeine pre-beach stroll.
The berry matcha (not a latte) was fantastic & just what I needed.
Baristas seemed busy, so more neutral interactions with them, but I appreciated that they churned out our orders fast.
Will definitely be coming here again, as there were so many things on the menu I would love to try.
