Every time I'm up in Oceanside I stop by here for double bacon avocado cheeseburger!! It's fire!!! Unfortunately the last two times I've come here I've noticed the same cook and I hate to say bad things but this dude does not know what he's doing everything was way overcooked and zero flavor. I had the onion rings and could barely eat them! The batter was this odd flavorless what seemed like some sort of really hard flour and water mixture.The first time I figured okay whatever. The second time I had some concern and I came back today and it was the same thing. Please please help this Cook out and show him what you guys do best. I will check back in a month and hopefully it's as glorious as it used to be to me and my coworkers!

Fantastic place!! The food is terrific, prices are great, the decor is fun and the employees seem to enjoy being there. And they have Diet Dr. Pepper in their soda fountain!!!!!

Got ignored by the cashier, they seemed to have messed up orders and were digging for receipts in the trash. Very uninspired selection of food but large enough variety of entrees. The interior decor makes the place more of a local hangout than a quality eatery. Just get some beer, meet some friends, and make due with the food.

The diner, actually a fast food shop, looks quite good, but the food is plentiful but extremely over-seasoned. The fries were so salty that you couldn't eat them. Too bad.

So disappointed! Was reading reviews and couldn’t wait to have their Pastrami sandwich. For the price, the Pastrami was way overpriced. The whole sandwich was dry and I felt like I was eating more bread than Pastrami. I will not return to this overpriced hamburger joint.

The Pit Stop is a family favorite. My grandsons enjoy visiting the restaurant. I usually oder the chicken plate for dinner. It is served with enough fries for two people. It comes with a salad, onion rings, fried zucchini, and a roll. It's more than enough for me. I always take food home.

This is one of our go-to restaurants we visit at least four times a month. we love this place. Great food, fast service, nice size portions, excellent staff, very clean, great environment
Parking: It's in the same parking lot as Oceanside Police Department safe to park, plenty of spots
Kid-friendliness: There's a lot of eye candy for the kids' classic car in the dining room, TVs visible from all tables, memorabilia ETC.
