Food and view are truly perfect and amazing, but apparently the staff know it, because the service and attitude of the staff leave room for improvement. Given this is on a military installation, but they were just not friendly and accomodating.

This place has gone way down hill. We are missing a burrito, a side order of beans was maybe 2 ounces, the salad is wimpy, missing the bacon and found a long hair in a taco. We will not be back

Ramon’s used to be good, but now it’s barely edible. I get it that inflation hit everyone hard but if you’re going increase your prices, give us the same quality as before. I bit into my California burrito and got nothing but fries and cheese. Open up the burrito, barely has any meat and even less sour cream. 16 dollars for a burrito of fries and cheese. Do better.

Tasted fine, but super small portion for the price. $15 for a California burrito but there was probably more tortilla than filling.

We actually used Ramones to cater a workshop in casa del mar. I was thinking it was just going to be run-of-the-mill tacos but I was kind of blown away. Yes, the chicken and carne asada were delicious but the real winner was the carnitas and they had that nice little flavorful crispy edges on pieces that made me kept going back for more. Not my first experience at Ramones either as I've had their carne asada in the past and it was just as delicious then. Great place with some outdoor seating and if you want to walk along the beach you got access

On the Del Mar beach on Camp Pendleton Marine Base. Beautiful view, great food, great people. Definitely try it out if you're in the area.

Great location. Food was... edible but wouldn't order again. Got a very dry California burrito, with what tasted like day old French fries.

Below average food for absurd prices. $15 for maybe 4 ounces of tacos.

The staff is less than friendly, the young lady working in the back bringing up orders is not friendly at all. If you’re working in the service industry, have the attitude for it. Maybe you’d get more tips from customers :)

Let me tell you what...There's a lot that I miss about California, but in my Top 3 things would absolutely include Ramone's on Del Mar Beach on CampPen! Love their street tacos, breakfast burritos, taquitos, and their carne asada fries are to die for!!!

Neat little place by the beach, I had a carne asada burrito. The meat was a tad bit over salted, but everything else about it was great. What was weird was the fact there was mayo packets on the open sun, which probably isn't too smart or safe.

$15 for a Cali burrito is a crime.

The food here is decent. Nothing exceptional for the area, but pretty good. The low stars is because the value is terrible. A $14 burrito should be much bigger. Shrinkflation has definitely come to this place. The views are amazing, right on the beach, but for this place to be worth it, they need to either provide a good value or exceptional food. Unfortunately, they don’t provide either. Until this place returns to providing a good value, I’m taking my business was elsewhere.
