We actually used Ramones to cater a workshop in casa del mar. I was thinking it was just going to be run-of-the-mill tacos but I was kind of blown away. Yes, the chicken and carne asada were delicious but the real winner was the carnitas and they had that nice little flavorful crispy edges on pieces that made me kept going back for more. Let me tell you what...There's a lot that I miss about California, but in my Top 3 things would absolutely include Ramone's on Del Mar Beach on CampPen! Love their street tacos, breakfast burritos, taquitos, and their carne asada fries are to die for!!!
Neat little place by the beach, I had a carne asada burrito. The meat was a tad bit over salted, but everything else about it was great. What was weird was the fact there was mayo packets on the open sun, which probably isn't too smart or safe.
