Great spot for a late night bite I got there a few minutes before they closed and they still served me Great food the burritos are skinnier compared to competitors but longer. Deliciously seasoned and super homemade tasting loved it! Definitely will be coming back soon

Roberto's Tacos has been a San Diego staple for over 50 years. They set the stage for the more authentic Tijuana fast food revolution that is present throughout San Diego. The Oceanside store has the number 13 attached to it. I surmise that indicates it is their 13th store and must have been around for some time. Their food is outstanding and their price is more than fair for the quantity and quality you get. I love their Carne Asada Burrito's that comes with plenty of Carne Asada, guacamole, pico in a huge flour tortilla. This is a treat for us when we visit because in the Bay Area Mexican taco shops fill their burritos with rice and beans, gross! Another treat is their Rolled Tacos with or without guacamole. You can get beef or chicken. They are crispy and oh so good. On this visit we noticed this Roberto's had some specialty burritos that I might have to try next time. One was a Carne Asada burrito with spicy hot Cheetos and another that had 2 rolled tacos inside a Carne Asada burrito. Love it! When in San Diego take some time and visit a Roberto's Tacos. You will enjoy a fantastic inexpensive meal and instantly become a critic of Mexican food outside of San Diego. Until our next visit, I will have to suffer through the bean and rice mess that they call burritos in the Bay Area. See you soon Roberto's Tacos. Yay! I'm a fan.

Good pretty straight forward taco shop. The machaca torta was quite nice. The bread was perfect and toasted which IMO is key to a good torta. Pretty basic seating area.

The location needs some love (tables and floor are dirty must of the time)However, it is one of the locations with consistent flavor. ?

Roberto's offers reliably delicious Mexican food. It's a quintessential southern California burrito shop, and this one just happens to be my favorite. The ingredients are good quality. I usually get the carne asada burrito, and the meat is tender and not grisly. The cheese is good. It doesn't leave your hands greasy. Most of the staff have worked there for years, and they do a great job. I highly recommend Roberto's if you're looking for that authentic southern California burrito shop. The interior has a few booths. It's nothing fancy.Parking: Roberto's is located inside a plaza with a parking lot. You shouldn't have any problem finding parking.

This place is quick hop off Highway 5. And I noticed it was really clean. I liked that they had 9 different types of breakfast burritos. It was perfect for a road trip as I was passing through town.

I came in a d an angry lady was wotking the register i asked if the Guac had onions and she told me no but in a really angry way. After i got my carne asada torta i noticed they didn't slice my tarta all tge way in half so i asked for a plastic knife the employee now was an older man in his 70's who was angered because I asked for a plastic knife. This place was not friendly and curteous and the food didn't taste all that good either also 80% of their tables were not cleaned. Lettuce and bean stains and dirty trays every where.

Roberto's in Oceanside is the first fast food taco shop I ever tried in the 80's. This Roberto's taco shop #13 will always have a special place in my heart. Fun fact they had a previous location in the 80-90's and moved to the current location in the 2000's! The food is still quality. The machacha platter is my absolute favorite with lots of shredded beef, grilled veggies and egg. The beef taco's are pilled full of beef, cheese and iceberg lettuce. My kids love the cheese quesadillas and bean burritos. Big bang for your Buck!
