All of the Romanos in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas have closed. Glad to see one here, I still have balance on my gift cards therefore dropped by and ordered calamari for the road, surprised to find peasant bread included with the calamari! The server was nice and patient to manually key in my gift cards

Yum! Just had the new San Marino Chicken and Shrimp. The sauce is delicious. (Already started eating it and then thought to take the photo.) Great sides of grilled asparagus and broccolini. We came in hungry and ordered the buttered mashed potatoes too! Cocktails are not over priced and free bread(!) completed our meal. Great friendly service too. We will definitely recommend and come back soon.

What a fantastic meal with hospitable, welcoming and energetic humans! This was such a fun meal after not eating out much during covid. Corey made one of most delicious old fashioneds I have ever had, complete with orange rind on the rim of the glass, what a good job making this drink! Xavier took our order and was patient with us while we figured out exactly what we wanted and was genuinely excited with us when we got it all figured out.

I've been a fan of macaroni grill since the mid 90s, it's hard to find one since most have closed. Was excited to see one open. My favorite has been the chicken scalopini. The worst ever. Tasted like pressed chicken rather than the grilled chicken breast. The bread was hard and dry. Very skimpy with the olive oil. Felt like they threw quality out the window. The staff was great. But I can see why their on their way out. Very disappointed.. goodbye Romanos macaroni grill. It was nice knowing you

Waited 10 mins to even be acknowledge then told it would be 20-25 mins to be seated in an almost empty restaurant.

Loved chicken Marsala, ate it all except the garlic, my friend loved mushroom ravioli. No leftovers.Cannoli is the best!

We dined there several weeks ago while on vacation. Our food and experience was terrible as compared to other Macaroni Gills we have gone to. The food was not prepared correctly and the portions were not correct. I discussed this with Bill the manager. He was apologetic and promised me a refund of our bill which was $105.00. After more than 3 weeks we still have not received the refund. Bill referred me to a manager in their Denver office Chris Knox. He has ignored not only myself but his store manager in issuing the refund. No one should have to pay for inferior food then be jerked around by management. Is it any wonder that this chain is in decline. You lost my business.

Me and my wife went here and the server jasmine was very nice, she never let our drinks go empty, made sure everything tasted well, suggested really great food! 10/10 would recommend !

The food was amazing and the dining area was very quiet and well kept for being around dinner time rush. Over server (sorry if I get the name wrong) Mimi was friendly, fast, pleasant, and polite. I will definitely be returning with other family in the future

Our waiter was very friendly. Could have been a little more organized and attentive. My food was OK. The salad was fresh and dressed well. I don't know if it's possible but whole cherry tomatoes would be nice in the salad instead of chopped tomatoes. The meat in my dish was very dry and the pasta had been tossed with the sauce but ended up all on one side of my bowl. Unfortunately it seemed like it had been microwaved even though this restaurant chain isn't supposed to have those units in the kitchen. The thing that was really bad was that as soon as you came in you could smell the restroom. The men's room had trampled litter on the floor in front of the entry door and in the room was gross. it looked like it was the urinals that were leaking into the floor and then some one just mopped the leakage all over the floor. The urinals needed new cakes too. This needs to be rectified ASAP if you're going to gain the trust of your customers as far as your restaurant's levels of cleanliness.

Excellent service, even when short-staffed. Once we were seated, Corey warmly introduced himself and was very attentive all throughout our dining experience. He gave great recommendations and we decided on Mama’s Trio, Fettuccine Alfredo, Signature Mac + Cheese Bites, and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. All delicious! Would highly recommend dining here. Bonus if you get Corey! Kudos to Corey!

So I normally don’t post restaurant reviews and I’m not a big Italian eater, but this place has now won a spot in my families regulars. Let’s start with our server Corey who was so amazing and friendly with our family of 3 children. He checked on us periodically and made sure we never sat there needing anything. Now for the food normally when you go to any restaurant and order off the kids menu mac and cheese you expect to get the normal kraft microwave stuff, not here everything was made fresh and delicious by the amazing Ferman. Hats off to the chef is an understatement. Lastly the manager Mike who like Corey continued to ensure our experience was a great one, came over to make sure we had everything and left with a smile on our face. There aren’t a lot of places left that make you feel like you’re still at home having a family dinner, but Romano’s is one of them. I look forward to enjoying more family outings at this establishment.
