Best Micheladas of the region, I have try in several places and this are the ones I like the most, with good prices as well

Rookies has great food and a fun atmosphere. The bartenders and servers are all friendly and attentive. They have many things going on throughout the week including Bingo, line dancing and karaoke.

Perfect dive bar. Been going here for over 15 years. It's exactly what you think it would be. Cold beer, service is so so, and the food is hit or miss depending on what you order. But that's why its a great bar. It's not amazing but its my favorite dive bar in Oside. Waitresses are hot so that's always a plus.

Came for the food, stayed because my server Griselda tripped me into ordering dessert like a true professional. Service was so good I started questioning my own life choices— like why I don't eat here every day. Griselda somehow juggled trays, told jokes, and gave better therapy than my actual therapist. The drinks were strong, the food was amazing, and Griselda deserves a raise, a statue, and possibly their own holiday. 10/10.

If Rookies Sports Bar were the Titanic, Varley would be the iceberg—absolutely impossible to ignore and responsible for sinking my plans every time I “just stop in for one drink.”

I don’t even like sports. I can’t tell a touchdown from a home run. But I show up like clockwork because Varley is slinging drinks and charm like Tom Cruise in Cocktail, if Tom Cruise had more tattoos and sass. The man mixes a margarita so good it once made me call my ex and apologize for something they did.

I don’t come to Rookies for the wings (although they slap), or the TVs (which exist, apparently)—I come for VARLEY. He remembers my order, my name, my dog’s name, and once, I swear to you, my deepest fear. He’s got the energy of a golden retriever who bartends as a side hustle between modeling gigs and saving lives.

To summarize: If Varley’s not working, neither am I. I will turn right around and walk out. No offense to the other bartenders, but if Varley isn’t behind the bar, my drink tastes like betrayal.

Team Varley forever. Rookies, give this man a raise, a trophy, and maybe a statue.

Sports screens galore, delicious appetizer sampler, ample beer selection, and Excellent service from Nicole. The owner, Kristin, chatted with us and is delightful. Love this place!

Great service, good food, cool atmosphere. Lots of menu choices, great happy hour options! Dig the boneless wings and sliders!

Lea and Varley are A1. They handled the rapid and influx of guests due to the Jon Jones fight with a grace and impeccable ease. Once things died down their personalities really shined and I felt right at home. Wonderful experience. Will be back soon and often.

Came in randomly to watch UGA game. Food was good. Great portions, decent price, good service, good beer. However, for a sports bar, the main tv needs to be replaced as it resembles a projector screen 📺 from the 80s. Other than that, no complaints.

Our waitress looked like she didn't want to work there. I took forever to order and get our food... When we did get the appetizer the pita bread was burned.. I was waiting for a beer well after the rest of our food arrived.. went to the bar to see if I could get it faster. Three people behind the bar and not greeted once... waitress told me my drink was already at the table and when it was clearly not at the table she argued with me ...... (Sunday 4pm) ... so disappointed!

Looking for a Sunday nfl sports bar. Totally delivers easy to see the game of your choice.
Crowd was fun and friendly.
Server was busy but always made sure we were good.
