An unexpected food experience thanks to owner and his chef creations by Joshua who greeted us on the street as we searched for a dining experience while staying at neighboring Seabird Resort. My husband and I really enjoyed Joshua’s filet minion with shrimp tempura both Ramon style and too with rice. Both So Yum to the last bite. An unsuspecting jem. Do try!!! This place is an amazing gem in Oceanside bringing together all of the owner's gifts and passions into a fusion of truly fabulous food, impressive artwork, and live nighttime music.
We stumbled on this place by accident, wandering around while here visiting family and spoke at length with owner Joshua Ramirez who charmed us with his vision and enthusiasm. Our only regret is that we didn't find it sooner. We'll definitely be back!

Food is incredibly bland and overpriced, the led lights are blinding when its not daytime and the owner/ manager are incredibly sarcastic and rude when I asked for a different drink.

The rosewood kitchen is very interesting. The guy cooking is also your server. It’s a bar and restaurant located on OS way before you hit the pier. The good is good and you may have to wait a bit but it’s worth trying.

Fabulous spot! Enjoyed the patio, but be sure to visit inside to see the amazing art! Owner waited on us and was helpful and attentive! Great menu, interesting and fun, but not overwhelming! Drinks were tasty and unique.. Try the Joshua Juice!

If your local to Oceanside or jist visiting do yourself a favor. Walk 1-2 blocks away from the restaurants right on the beach front. While the restaurants are pretty good, rosewood kitchen serves delicious food and the drinks particularly the J3 is a wonderful drink. Bonus rosewood has has a great relaxing vibe!

We loved our meal at Rosewood Kitchen. I had the birria ramen. It was the BEST! I loved the addition of homeny and nopales!! Everything we had was delicious!! Definitely recommend stopping by!!
Reviewing for food ordered next door from Booze Bros.
Had Rosewood tonight. We always go to Booze Bros next door and order through the handy order screen there. Today we ordered at 6:06pm. At around 7:10pm, I went next door to Rosewood to find out what was going on. After a few minutes of waiting in an empty restaurant, someone emerged carrying food. Once I could be helped, I was told there had been a staff emergency, but our food would be brought out immediately. To their credit, we had our food less than 10 minutes later.
Our food was tepid, limp and was missing extras ordered. Easily the worst meal eaten either in establishment or next door. We were assured it hadn't been sitting long, but tepid ramen and cold, limp garlic noodles suggest otherwise.
After speaking with the staff, we were told our meal - or a portion thereof - would be refunded, and that if it wasn't, we should visit tomorrow. Which is worrying for them to have to mention.
I get emergencies and unforseen situations, but they should not be something to briing a place to its knees because of inadequate emergency procedures.
If Rosewood keep their promise without me having to revisit them, I'll up this to 3 stars. If I were Booze Bros, I'd be worried about aligning myself with a place that cannot consistently provide good food at a good price in a timely manner. I'll be sure to let them know
