Pretty damn good 👍 if I was ever near by definitely would grab a burrito to go and probably one for later.
We've been going here since they opened. Definitely one of our favorite spots! Absolutely delicious food!

Great food like usual only had to wait about five minutes for our food. Some of the best fresh chile I've ever had in North County at a taco shop. Also recommend the chicken fries too.
We come here almost every weekend! Attaching pic from our first time! (We just moved and didn’t have a dining room table lol so we were eating on the floor 😭) Maybe our first meal in Oceanside!
Clearly reviews dont mean much anymore. From what I read I was expecting super good quality .. and at these prices. but it was just fast food quality for very high nice restaurant prices. Totally not worth the cost imo !!

I was in the area doing a drop off before lunch. I was craving Mexican food, so I stopped in on San Luis. The place was small - five or so tables. But it was neat and tidy and pretty busy, so I thought I'd order a combo meal.
Service was not particularly friendly or unfriendly, just efficient, which I'm fine with. One lady was juggling the counter orders and phone orders at the same time.
The price came out to $22 for a combo plate and a small, refillable soda. A bit expensive since I get this same for less than $17 in El Cajon and there it's really good.
To top it off, the food arrives and it's a little disappointing. The meat was dry, overcooked and flaky rather than chunky, moist and tender. The sauce the meat was cooked in barely had any flavor at all. Even the rice and beans were bland.
Anyway, the food wasn't inedible, just expensive and flavorless. Still, it was busy, so either people like it or they don't have many options. Either way, I'm in the area a lot, but I won't be going back.
