San Luis Rey Bakery & Restaurant

I came here on a Friday for a early lunch the food was horrible I got chile verde breakfast the meat was so hard and chewy the weird thing was there was like one piece in there that wasn't overcooked showed how bad the rest was cooked to much. My fiance got the milanesa torta she said was just ok . We also got some Mexican bread to all bread the bread was just ok come cookies tasted old and weird I don't recommend this place to any one

Horrible horrible horrible I ordered cheese enchiladas with with green sauce and I got chicken and cheese enchiladas with red sauce plus they overcharged us they charged me $40 for that is enchiladas they charge me for the chips that we didn't order that they just placed on the table and salsa and I asked them to put some sour cream and guacamole online enchiladas they gave me a bowl of sour cream and a bowl of guacamole and charge me for that as well I will never step foot in that restaurant again ever

Was really excited to find this gem. I had a cinnamon roll, unfortunately was brought cold i had asked for it warmed. It was very dry. My girlfriend had an egg dish that had lots of flavor. Waitress was very sweet but had limited English. I will come back and try something different. They had live music, which was a nice surprise

The photos on Uber eats are far from what you get in reality. The meat was very dry and my “quesadilla” was more like a taco. The food was very expensive for what I got and the tres leches cake slice was actually more like a cupcake and was stale and dry, like how can you mess up this bad. Very disappointing.

The breakfast burrito was very disappointing. It was essentially a tortilla filled mostly with potatoes. The potatoes tasted like they were cooked yesterday and reheated. There might have been one egg, half a piece of bacon, and a small amount of ground sausage—far less than I would expect for the price. The burrito lacked quality and balance. I recommend reducing the amount of potato and adding another egg to improve the value. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I spent $27 for two breakfast burritos it was basically tortilla stuffed with potato the salsa gad no flavor barely any bacon or egg in it poor quality food avoid this place

I visited for the first time and ordered breakfast. The first concern was that the server consistently repeated our order back incorrectly. The second concern arose when she did not check on our table after 10 minutes. A further issue emerged when we decided to purchase some pastries to keep my two children occupied while we awaited our meal, as it was taking a considerable amount of time. Even after we informed the same server that the pastries were intended to sustain the children, her response was simply, “oh.” After another 10 minutes, we notified the manager about the delay, and he kindly went to check on our order and brought it out. However, 30 minutes later, we received two incorrect orders. At this point, we were quite frustrated by the lack of attention to our table. While the manager did offer to remake the food, we had already lost patience with the service. It seems that the staff would benefit from additional training.

I stopped for the baked goods. I'm sorry but I've never seen staff so unconcerned with the flies in the glass case. Won't be back.

Some of the best pastries I have eaten since leaving the East coast. Also a fantastic cheese cake.
