Senor Grubby’s was the spot for a meetup with a handful of friends. An easy stroll from our hotel across from the Pier.
Cold beers were on tap and in can for the special. We had a few cans of Tecate. One of our group enjoyed her half-nachos that looked like a full portion.
Standard cantina service and fair prices make Señor Grubby’s a good pit stop or even full meal and hang.

We ate here 3 days in a row because the food, drinks, and service were so great! Everything we had was delicious, especially the carnitas and al pastor tacos. The spicy mezcal margarita was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time and they also serve an excellent Mexican breakfast. Fantastic salsa bar as well!

Very accommodating wheelchair friendly extremely nice to my pup. Grew up going to senior groupies in Carlsbad nice to have the same vibes 10 years later 🤙🏽 friendly counter service and bartender quality good eats. Salsa on point 👌🏽
Bartender Melissa and Jaden were freaking awesome!!! They legit stayed open later in order to help us out and it was awesome!!! I will definitely recommend all of the people I know to come here just because of them !!!
