Good food for very reasonable prices- This is now my go-to place for grocery shopping. I love that they are opens 24 hours - very accommodating for people like me who work odd hours. The checkout lines never seem to take long because the workers are so helpful and efficient.

I love the area of the store where you can try items out before bagging them up. You can beat the pricing here as well. The best choices in food overall. Service is quick too. Ambiance is clean.

I was shopping as I do at this location three times a week+ . I was approaching a section when I was approached by three African-American individuals. One of them who was a loss prevention, approached me with a cell phone showing a picture of a light skin, black female, who slightly resembled me and asked me if that was me I stated no. He continued to point out things on her body that looked like me. And pointed to them on me and said it was me, and that I stole " hundreds of dollars of liquor in the past" he proceeded to show the photo to multiple customers that were circling around the situation and asked if it looked like me they said no. I pleaded my innocence as I am a successful 30-year-old woman. He continued to say that he" look at the video footage to make sure it was me" He never came back as I'm assuming he realized it wasn't me. I am so embarrassed. He told me I was not allowed back in the store . I am considering pursuing legal action

I go here pretty much weekly and I don't think I've ever been disappointed. Pretty much all the prices are better than other grocery stores and they have a really convenient bulk section.

It's nice to have this location in the fire mountain area, so close to target and the other shopping centers. While I don't usually come to this one, it's very convenient for buying the usual stuff. For me, Winco is the place for buying things in bulk. You can find all kinds of flour, dried beans, baking mixes, nuts, granola, candies, spices, herbs-- you name it! It's also decent for a wide variety of fresh vegetables. I find things here that I can't easily get elsewhere, without going to specialty markets. You can find a number of vegetables like kohlrabi, tomatillos, different kinds of kale and greens, fresh chickpeas in their pods, and different kinds of bok choy. You can also get avocados at the cheapest price in town- this is where I stock up. This is also the place where I stock up on beverages like La Croix- they stock a wide variety of flavors to make it interesting. I haven't compared with Costco, but it's probably close. As far as the other stuff, it's hit or miss. I've purchased fresh eggs and Choice cut standing rib roast that turned out great. I'm a bit hesitant about purchasing meats because I generally don't buy pre-seasoned meat (tends to be extra salty and may cover up meat that's not so fresh) but they do have good offerings now and then. And for canned and boxed groceries--- it's just ok. When it comes to checking out, you can either go through the cashier's line and expect to bag your own groceries or you can go through the self checkout line and do it all. I tend to do the self checkout because the line is shorter but then I often regret it because the system is so finicky. EVERY SINGLE TIME there is a problem doing checkout-- either an item gets double scanned or the system gets confused about item weight after it has been scanned-- it doesn't sense that it has been placed on the checkout area. And then I have to call for assistance.... In any case, it's worth checking out...

They have great prices on most items but the quality of their beef is terrible- the steaks and beef in general is always tough no matter how it's cooked, and the ground beef always goes bad within a day. Gross. The employees are mostly awful as well. One cashier gets upset when she has to scan raw meat, complaining and making rude comments the whole time and then spraying down the whole area after scanning. She thinks that the condensation on the outside of the package is actually meat juice. They had another checker who liked to double and triple scan items, resulting in a bill that was $75 higher than it should have been. His nose was visibly running down his face and he kept wiping it with his hand, then touching the groceries. They also have this ridiculous rule that you can't buy hams and turkeys in self check lines- even when they only have one human checker and the line is six full carts long. The woman who was overseeing the self checkout refused to help with the ham and rudely told me to go wait in the other line, after I had already scanned the rest of my groceries in self check. She was incredibly rude about it, didn't offer any solution at all. Winco is good for cheap shopping, but for beef and good customer service, go elsewhere. They need to train their employees better on how to interact with customers.

Store manager Kimberly was incredibly rude when I walked up on her talking down to an employee making her cry. She proceeded very rudely to say what do you want. I told her that she was making a scene and that she should probably do this off the floor. Kimberly then proceeded to tell me that I should be on my way and this isn't any of my business. I then pulled out my phone to record her reaction and she told me that it's illegal to record her and that I'm now kicked out of Her store. I used to shop here now I will not be back and I will make sure that my neighbors and parents at my children's school know about how this store has gone down hill

Winco is pretty awesome The workers are always helpful and the prices are hard to beat The produce is good quality and the staple items are better priced than Walmart It's a great option for most grocery items

This is an employee-owned grocery store, and they have the most fabulous staff I have ever seen. Even if they are busy the staff is always willing to help the customer before finishing their original job, sometimes even taking you to where the item is. They have several types of rotisserie chickens and other items in the hot foods section that you won't find in any other grocery store. Something else you won't find at a normal grocery store is the number of different varieties of coffee beans. They have a grinder at one end of the bean section, which is rarely found at other grocery stores. Because they do their best to keep their prices down, they don't have a weekly ad, but they do have weekly specials on their website: www.wincofoods.com.

I like coming here and visiting their bulk section. When I only need a small amount of spices for a recipie, Winco is the place to go. Even with flour and rice, I buy what I need at this store so that I can avoid products from being stale. Sometimes prices aren't found so you have to ask an associate or bring it up to the register. Large parking lot and easy self check out aisle.

Prices are good. Most employees are rude! Most Stockers don't say hello. When a customer is walking through the isle. They won't move out your way! They try and punk you out there way! No excuses me!? This morning an employee that was off. Was hanging out talking with other employees. In the middle of the isle. Again no excuse me? Cashier was also rude. Zero eye contact No good morning no hello! Just rude! If they want to chase away money? Think I'll find a more respectful grocery store. I'm not giving my hard errand money to A holes!

Love WinCo. Been shopping here since the day it opened. I'm a price shopper - yes excel spreadsheet and all. Traders, WinCo, Frasier Farms, Sprouts. I've referred 100's of people with my posts on social media. Shoppers have messaged me back and thanked me for sharing the savings of shopping there for large families. See screenshot. Worst - Best review - Ever for $7.14 refund that I deserve. See proof below. My wife asked me to pick up a specific coffee to try. She tried it and hated it. I said - "I'll return for another coffee." Brought my coffee in and returned and got my Customer Refund NCR yellow copy form. $7.14. Next time I go grocery shopping I hand it to the cashier when I pay. She says, "Sir, you can't use this because it's expired!" Wait what how? I said, "What do mean?" She says, "See here at the bottom it says void after 7 days." Completely embarrassed because I didn't have enough cash without the credit for the return. I apologize to the folks in line for holding things while we talked. Finally I just left my groceries and walked out. Very uncomfortable moment. 1 day later I go back in and go straight to Customer Service desk. I explain that when I got the refund slip I just put in my wallet. The Employee didn't mention the 7 day void. The Employee didn't circle it. The Employee didn't highlight the section. I didn't read it. She says, "Well, now you know you should have used it sooner - that's on you." Embarrassed. Humiliated. Frustrated. Feeling ripped off. One STAR.

I never been to a Winco before, but it was pretty good all in all. Definitely have to know prices as somethings were less money, some things more money and other things the same as other places. They have a good selection of things here. Place reminds me of a warehouse a bit tho.

Great prices, but not worth the wait at the cashier lines! Longest waits ever! They have been hiring senior citizens to run the cash registers. They are painfully to slow and carry on conversations and don't know how to talk and scan at the same time! Steve, the bald one that seems to know a lot about Chicago, the absolute slowest. I'm going back to Von's, would rather spend a little more!
