I come to this Starbucks all the time because it’s close to my house and I always order the same thing. Unless I do a mobile order, they never seem to hear me correctly—maybe it’s the loud fan or setup at the walk-up window, but it’s frustrating.

This morning was especially awkward. I ordered ahead, showed up, and saw my drink ready. One barista made it, walked it over to a counter away from me, looked at her coworker, and basically refused to hand it to me. I watched the whole thing, and it was just weird. I tried to brush it off with a lighthearted comment, but the vibe was off.

The drinks are usually made right, but the customer service lacks warmth and consistency. Honestly, it just feels uncomfortable more often than not. I’d love to keep coming here, but the experience needs improvement.

The baristas here are super rude. They give very slow service and there shouldn’t ever be a 30 minute wait for a coffee when there’s no dine in lobby and there’s only a few cars in line. They always have an attitude about life.

**Review of Starbucks Café in San Diego**

Starbucks in San Diego offers great quality coffee with the unique flavor for which the brand is famous globally. Drinks are prepared to suit the preferences of many customers, from traditional coffee to lattes or frappuccinos.

However, the waiting time here is quite long, especially during peak hours, which can slightly reduce the customer experience. If you love good coffee and don't mind waiting, this is still a destination worth considering.

This is a drive thru and walk-up only Starbucks. There are no areas to sit and parking is limited. Unfortunately, the lines at both the pick-up window and drive through can be long. The baristas, however, are friendly, efficient, and make great drinks.

Vegetarian options: Breakfast sandwiches and treats!

Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options, non-dairy options

This is the slowest Starbucks and Danielle had the worst attitude. I also called corporate but since they didn’t give me a receipt they couldn’t process my complain so I will make sure to go again and get a receipt so corporate can process this accordingly

No matter how many times I ask for them not to put my kid’s cake pop in the handle bags with all our hot food they still do it anyways.

It melts the cake pops because they put it right up against all our hot food and leave it sitting in the bag melting away while they take their time taking the next order instead of handing it off right away. $3.45 just to have all the frosting melted off is ridiculous.

IF they give any napkins at all it’s max 1 single ply napkin per food item. Not nearly enough for a $20+ in-car meal with kids.

Doesn’t matter what size ice water you ask for, they give you a tall (their smallest size possible for an iced drink).

For a premium product like Starbucks, you’d think they could give the tiniest bit of effort to ensure the items you order and pay for are handed off in the condition they’re bagged in and actually deliver the size ice water that is asked for repeatedly.

I’m going to have to avoid this Starbucks since this only seems to be an issue here. Such a bummer since this is a store I used to work at and once took pride in.

Caucasian girl at the drive thru wasn’t very pleasant this morning. No greeting or even a thank you have a nice day. I mean come on you work at Starbucks where I overpay for my items. The least you can do is smile.

First pumpkin spice of the season! absolutely love this location they are always consistent with their drinks not once have i had a drink that needed to be remade and the customer service is fantastic!
