Definitely sit at the bar worth the wait! Just be careful with driving afterwards he will get you hammered and always hands out shots! If you really want to get the hookup give him a bottle of anything. BevMo is a couple doors down!

This place is obviously one of the finest place to eat in the region. Every time I go there I am greatly pleased. They always keep their high level service and the highest level of dishes they offer. You are always happy with this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Friends took us to this place a week ago and we just went back 3 January, it was excellent, and not the least noteworthy is the good humour and generosity of proprietor Steve in passing out samples of mussels, shumju (a Korean wine), and other items. Among the many exceptional items here are the soft shell crab appetiser, the yellowtail and salmon collars (two separate dishes), the spicy tuna roll, and the albacore sushi. This Chef has many surprises up his sleeve, I have the feeling many visits would reveal many more tasty tidbits.

Sushi and Joy is by far, the best sushi I’ve eaten. Ever. The quality of fish is outstanding and Steve takes pride in what he delivers. Each roll has outstanding flavors. I drive over 45 min, past a ton of sushi places to go specifically to Sushi and Joy because of their amazing sushi.

Been coming for 20+ years on and off. Today was an off day, although the sushi was still super fresh. Service was not so good, even at the sushi bar. Sushi was tasty but nothing amazing, so may have been the post holiday blues.

The sushi here is really fresh and delicious. Order some Sapporo and saki and have fun with some unique rolls on the menu. You should def try, like the "heart attack roll". You should also get the sear albacore tuna. This is the second time I have been here while visiting the west coast and I will definitely come here the next time I'm here again. It's excellent!
