Update: Day 3 of food poisoning, was legitimately sent to the er by my doctor. Have yet to receive any word from the business despite the brief phone call I made to inform them of the chorizo being bad. Avoid at all costs. Day 2 of suffering from extreme food poisoning from this establishment, do not order anything with Chorizo. I did call and the staff member I spoke to informed me they would tell the kitchen. I have never had food poisoning this severe before, please learn the lesson from me and avoid their Chorizo at all costs.

Great place to eat and enjoy people watching. I had avocado toast and herbs. My husband had Swami’s combo with a pancake. The bacon was a little dry but I guess that is taste. We had several staff come and check on us. Very warm place to eat and enjoy. Definitely will visit again. Love that is close to the beach.

Missed dinner the night before so we came into Swami’s ready to eat. This is not the place to order food for the first time with wreckless abandon. There is a reason why you can order one pancake. I couldn’t even finish mine and it was delicious. The special pumpkin walnut pancakes are a must. The fruit was fresh. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. The food can get costly too if you order a ton so be careful. Great spot for breakfast!

Upon walking up to the café, I was immediately drawn in by the doors being open and hearing hay, upbeat music. Signage near the entrance directed café customers to look at the menu, place their order at the counter then take a seat.
As I looked at the menu, I appreciated the clear designation between vegetarian and vegan menu items. Vegan food choices includes a clearly marked tofu stir fry with vegetables and although they offer a Impossible Burger with vegan cheese, it is list as vegetarian since it is on a brioche bun which probably contains egg and/dairy. After looking at the paper menu as well as the digital board inside the restaurant, I decided to get a specialty item of Vegan Fysh Tacos an a side order of yam/sweet potato fries.
When my vegan fysh tacos arrived, I was impressed by the food presentation. While the tacos were delicious and flavorful, the brown rice and black beans that accompanied the tacos were bland, The yam/sweet potato fries were the perfect combination of sweet and crunchy.
Although I don’t visit Oceanside often, if I ever find myself visiting the area again, I would definitely stop by to try their tofu stir fry with vegetables to compare it to the vegan fysh tacos.

My husband and I visited Oceanside for a few days RnR. Went tovSwami's Cafe for a late breakfast. The food is plenty and delicious and the service was friendly and courties. I would go there again if in the area.
The staff is so helpful and lovely here! I highly recommend the veggie omelet and the mahi tacos!

This is such a cozy weekend go-to for us. 🌞 They’ve got something for everyone, mimosa flights for me, a giant chocolate chip pancake for my kiddo, and lighter options when I’m trying to behave. The corned beef hash is a fave, and I usually stick to the Benedict because it never lets me down (the beef special I tried was a little chewy). It does get busy in the mornings, and you order at the counter with self-serve drinks, but that’s part of the charm. Swami’s is definitely staying in our regular rotation.

Love the customer service Daya is a wonderful happy young lady with a gig smile on her face. Always makes me feel welcome. They also have a huge Coffee selection to make your own coffee.
