I had an incredible time at this spot! The owner was absolutely amazing, super friendly, outgoing, and so confident in his cooking that he even had me try the ribs before I ordered them. And he was right! Everything was delicious. The ribs were tender, falling right off the bone, and every dish was perfectly seasoned. The rice and plantains were so good, and the Thai tea had just the right sweetness. From start to finish, I felt taken care of with such great service. Definitely one of the best soulful restaurants out there. I can’t wait to come back!

A food was delicious seasoned perfectly. We got the jerk chicken and the Sofrito chicken both were tasty but I felt it was a little too falling off the bone and need a little texture. The skin was too soft it needed to be crisp up. The Jollof rice delicious!!! We definitely will be back... oh I forgot about the collard greens the best iPad from a restaurant amazing perfectly seasoned not to watery perfect texture very well-rounded in flavor. I want a hole pot!!

This was our first time coming here, we just got the Garlic Ribs, collard greens and yam casserole. There is no better way to put this: Best food I've tasted in years. Fall off the bone ribs, I literally can't get enough of the greens, and the casserole is exactly how my mother used to make. I will be picking up food from this place for years to come.

Found this place while door dashing and the owner was super nice and the food smelled great so I came back to try some. I ordered the pork ribs the Naked truth which comes with 4 amazing ribs, red beans and rice, and I choose greens as my side which I absolutely loved 10/10 on everything.

I had the Pork Ribs the Naked Truth combo. Came with rice n beans and greens. Very impressed with the flavor of the meat. Falling off the bone ribs. If you're looking for a tuff fighting rib. This is Not for you. The meat just surrenders. Almost melts in your mouth. You can taste the Love in the food. I'm looking forward to trying the other combos. But I could easily get stuck on this one.

So once you find this hidden gem of a Caribbean style soul food kitchen run by the man Dre you will be hooked. First off the sides are ridiculously good and flavorful. The collard greens are some of the best I’ve ever had and that jollof rice has just the right amount of heat without compromising flavor. Now for the main event…..the jerk chicken and the ribs……the chicken is so moist and just falls right off the bone. The spice levels are on point and a slight hint of smokiness at the back end. Same exact thing with the ribs they are moist and just melt in your mouth with a slight hint is smokiness and sweetness that hit the taste buds just right. The man is truly dedicated to good flavors and is a master of his craft. Order through delivery apps or check him out at the north county food hub in Oceanside at 3760 oceanic way. You won’t regret it

Got really hungry pretty late so I realized this new place was open late. Ended up getting the jerk chicken, collard greens and plantains. The chef Andre also threw in a Dutch chocolate cake, service was great and so was the food. I would just say the rub on the jerk chicken was very spicy, I am a fan of spice but this was up there. Also when I arrived to pick up my food it was a little confusing, I would recommend a doorbell or some directions on how to pick up food for first timers. I would check this place out especially if it’s late and you are hungry. Thank you Andre for the food!

Ordered delivery tonight, had the Cajun creamy butter chicken and potatoes. $21.99, it came with one (1) small thigh. Whisky Tango Foxtrot. This store won't last long charging that much for a single 5 ounce chicken thigh. I also had the collard greens they tasted like they were cooked with a fireman's sock and 6 cups of salt. I will never eat sludge from there again.
