Ordered a miso ramen and asked for it to be extra (temperature) hot. Bowl arrived, no steam, stuck my finger in it and it was tepid at best. Not The way ramen should be served. Asked if they could microwave it. Bowl came back, now delivered by the head waitress who proceeded to tell me the soup is hot and the toppings are cold and that’s what makes the soup cold. Mind blown!

Oh my goodness, this place is a hidden gem! The service was incredibly quick and friendly, and I was treated with utmost respect right from the moment I stepped in. I’m definitely coming back. I decided to try their spicy chicken ramen with a cold Sapporo to help balance the heat. Let me tell you, I’m almost halfway done with this plate! Be warned, you’re in for a spicy treat. Total came out to roughly 25 bucks but with tips included it was $30 even.

Tengu has become my go-to spot for ramen - my favorite is the black garlic tonkotsu, but everything on the menu is great.

My husband and I decided to try this place due to the positive reviews, but our experience was disappointing. We were seated quickly, which was a plus, and my husband enjoyed his ramen. However, I ordered a chicken rice bowl and waited 15 minutes while everyone who arrived after us was served. I understand they were busy, but waiting that long for my meal is unacceptable. I won't be returning.
