Two different friends recommended Crimson Cake and they did a FABULOUS job for us. The gluten free chocolate cake and vanilla cupcakes were the hit of the party. Everyone just raved about them. Beautiful, affordable and so delicious! Ordered over phone, so easy. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Crimson Cake, who baked our wedding cake and made mini desserts for the dessert table. Alicia was prompt in her communications and easy to work with. I highly recommend the tasting box! I tried 3 different bakeries before I settled on this one, and am so glad I did. The guests (and even the servers at the wedding) raved about the cake. There are so many flavors to choose from, but the quality of the ingredients (like true fresh fruit) really stands out. Their delivery fee is reasonable (wedding was in La Jolla) and the mini desserts truly are outstanding. The expertise and craftsmanship of the bakers is evident. Thank you Crimson Cake!

A hidden gem in an industrial area—make that first left from Oceanic Dr., and you're in for a good treat! Snagged the last vegan, gluten-free cupcakes, and wow, it was fresh, flavorful, and definitely made with love. The mellow vibe and reasonable prices make this spot a must-visit. The nature center in Carlsbad had their cupcakes for an event for guests. Tried the chocolate one and it was so good! Our son liked a confetti vanilla one as well. Will try to visit in person or place an order for ourselves!

Loved loved loved the cakes. They came out great! My son has an egg & dairy allergy and them having a vegan option was amazing because I was worried. The only thing I was a little annoyed about was the misspelling of his name. I made sure I sent the correct spelling and it was spelled wrong (minor mistake). Outside of that I would highly recommend her cakes to anyone & will definitely go back. Thank you!

Where to begin... I am currently in VA and currently trying to plan a early sweet 16 back home for my baby so she can celebrate it in the O with everyone who loves her. My mom is helping look for a baker to bake a 90's / 00's themed cake. Find a baker who makes custom themed cakes is actually quite difficult than one might think. So imagine showing my mom this place and asking her to check and see if they could try to make it without fondant (my baby hates it). All just for her to go in and be met with ATTITUDE after just asking "Do you make custom cakes?" Then while asking if you could make something similar to the picture she showed asking if you can make it without fondant rather than brainstorming idea's (the cake design isn't set stone) and asking if the design is set in stone.... it was tho you just waved your hand to dismiss her and stated that it needs to be made with fondant

I was planning a 50th Anniversary party for my parents from out of town( I live in Philadelphia and they live in Oceanside) so I Googled best cake bakeries in Oceanside, and there were several that came up but, The Crimson Cake stood out!! I looked over her website and was impressed, so I took a chance and ordered!! The cake was AMAZINGGGG!!! Half Strawberry Shortcake half Luscious Lemon, it was delish!!! The presentation of the cake was absolutely gorgeous!!! I will definitely order again!!

I ordered an assortment of pastries and they were all beautiful and delicious! I made a last minute order and they were able to provide me everything on my list. My only complaint (if you can even call it that) is that the macaroons and crème puffs are a bit large, which again isn’t really something you can complain about other than I personally think those should be more bite size. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely order from them again.
