Just ate at the Great Greek on Rancho Del Oro Rd in Oceanside. Food and service were excellent. Very clean place! I had the Salmon salad. Salmon was cooked perfectly. The lettuce pieces were too big, but fresh, and there was hardly any dressing on the salad. The tzatziki, as someone else mentioned, was odd, being thicker than typical. But, all was very good. They should soon have their liquor license and outdoor seating. We're going back for sure as we want to explore the menu. Highly recommended!

Went to the Oceanside, CA Great Greek Restaurant and was superbly impressed. The food was so delicious and they weren't stingy about the amount served. First time trying mediterranean food and I will be on the mediterranean diet from now on.

Very big Gyro. But tzitiki..seemed like just thick Greek yogurt w idk what inside.. difficult to pour or spread.. had to ask for a second one for sandwich. Not a fan of their recipe personally.

This food slapped harder than a Spartan in a toga party. The baklava was so fresh it filed a restraining order against my spoon. I didn’t just eat — I achieved Greek enlightenment.

Wow! We had Great Greek cater a small family wedding, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was. Personal service, delicious food, abundant portions, did I already mention the customer service, it was amazing. We are now devotees, because they made us feel like family!!! Finally open. We had the Athena burger and the beef/lamb gyro. Both were cooked perfectly and super tasty. Staff is super friendly and place is clean. Can't wait to try everything on the menu. My go to place.

I ordered two gyro combo plates for takeout and was impressed at first that the order was ready in under 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing—everything was cold except for the rice pilaf, the fries were especially cold and hard, also forgot the side of tzatziki sauce. Given the great reviews, this was unexpected. I’m not sure if it was because the order was to-go or due to how busy it was, but I wouldn’t order takeout again. I may try dining in to see if the experience is better.

Just went in to try some Mediterranean food for the first time! My husband and I just got done with church and omg I fell in love! The service for one is worthy of going back! Such a homey and family vibe! For food we got the Gyro Plate, a lamb skewer, and a side of lemon potato’s! Perfect combo, my husband and I both ate and had leftovers. We will be back! I wish I took pictures, but I we ate it before we could even think about!
