Space pad is really unique, cool & enjoyable. The drinks were pretty good too. We dropped by on Valentine's Day, with reservations. The only odd thing that happened was that I can't say that, even with reservations, we were well received. The bar hostess was hesitant when I checked in. I hadn't even mentioned my reservation yet bcus the bar had 4 open seats and only 2 people sitting. But bcus she was hesitant I told her I had a reservation. She said what time. 7:15p. Then she said I booked for “standing room only”, which #1 she didn't look me up and #2 I did not see this info on the reservation and further again at this time there were 4 empty seats at the bar. I didn't respond to it and just stayed there a little confused. It was only after a long pause of a moment she said well you can sit at the bar but for only 30 mins. She was never friendly of cool thereafter. It was a damper on such a cool place and experience.

Fun little bar, good atmosphere and the staff was great. Be warned that they don't have the same menu they used to. It's just very basic stuff like a slice of pizza or pretzel bites. The “charcuterie” was fine but like Keebler crackers and sliced grocery store cheese. Drinks were good though. Just don't go planning to eat there.

This is a fun find in Oceanside recommended by a local. A reservation is definitely needed due to the size of the place. The bartender, Mario was great. All of the drinks are a beautiful presentation!

This place was smaller than we expected but it was great nevertheless. The mai tais were potent. We needed to walk them off afterwards! Food selection was limited (menu in transition) but the corn dogs were tasty. Definitely want to return!

Some of the staff are horribly rude. Connected to the back of kilowatts so I thought I could grab a beer from the front and bring it into the speakeasy to sit with my group. Was rudely yelled at by one of the bartenders since apparently the back bar only has a liquor license and cannot have beer in the seating area. She apologized to my friends, stating that the front area bartender “should have told me” but did not speak to me while sitting in the front, alone, drinking my beer. I will absolutely never return
