My goodness , don't over cook the fish. I was there today and was very disappointed with the fish basket. Way overcooked. Still had a good taste but when it's overcooked it's tough. Please inform your personnel that fish cooks very quickly , especially deep fried. 3 to 4 minutes tops. I will commend you on the Cole slaw , excellent

Fish tacos are mediocre. Served in a huge flower tortilla. The slaw they put on top is bad (cabbage is stale and almost fermented). The fish is non descriptive (they don’t even say what fish it is, just call it crispy fish - it can be anything). Fries are nice but impossibly salty.

Food was alright, not the authentic fish and chip breading more like cafeteria fish and chips. The fish seemed pretty fresh. Sauces were meh. Flavor was alright. The fries weren’t fresh. Overall I’d go somewhere else and bring it to the beach.

A few people recommended Tin Fish to us, but unfortunately, I think we visited on an off day. Our order took a long time, and when we finally got it, some items were missing. I'm sure they would have fixed it, but since we had already switched from dining in to takeout due to the wait, we didn’t get a chance to check before leaving. Several other customers were also returning to the counter for missing items or even requesting refunds because of delays. That said, the tacos and sandwiches we did receive were very good.

This is only based on my experience. Came here for the first time today. I can see the frustration and hear people complaining that the orders were taking way too long. It's been already 20 minutes and im still waiting for my order. I would definitely NOT recommend coming here if there are alot of people.
Update: I officially hit the 40 minute mark and my order has still not come out. They're starting to tell people it's an hour wait for their food. I am never coming here again.

Love Tin Fish fried cod, tarter sauce, Mahi Mahi tacos, burgers, milkshakes & waffle fries. You order outside at the window under the Oceanside Pier, near the Lifeguard station. Tables/chairs with umbrellas for dining outside or call ahead and takeout!

So I'm from the Midwest and don't eat on the beach often, but retirees on the boardwalk recommended the place. My fish was cooked really well. Good fries and cold slaw and enjoyed the vanilla milkshake. Menu has lots of options with different sized portions. Picnic tables were all clean. Staff was friendly. Would recommend.
