We were just visiting Oceanside, California, and we went here for dinner. The food was amazing. The service was on point. And if you wanted fresh ground black pepper, they were very accommodating. Our waitress took very good care of us and saw to our needs. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to spend a little money.

Lovely well established family run Italian for a really nice evening out with the family, the parents or the spouse. The two older fellows are wonderful and take great pride in their place. Service was attentive, food was OK but not exceptional as expected for the price. The calamari was good, but could have been better if the sauce had some zing to it. The seafood mixture with spaghetti was just passable, the sauce was too watered down with hardly any flavor to it.

Pino's restaurant is my absolute favorite. He is such a fabulous cook and a very gracious host. Every trip to San Diego must include a dinner at Veneto' s. I had eggplant Parmesan with a wonderful full-bodied red wine and it was delicious. The servings are so large that I had to take half of it home and enjoy it as lunch the following day. My companion had a salmon dish and Ravens about it.Dietary restrictions: My companion cannot proces butter or oils other than coconut oil. Pink is careful to prepare a dish using very little oil.
The gentlemen Pino is amazing, super sweet and very attentive! The food was really fresh and tasted amazing. I do think the margaerita pizza was more of cheese pizza with diced tomatoes, but it tasted sooooo good! They made it fresh and you can tell!

Just had the worst experience here. Staff ignored the line of customers waiting to dine in. I was picking up an order for grub hub and waited patiently behind this line and approached a gentleman as he finally walked by us and said “I’m here to pick up an order” it’s like his lid blew off hearing that and he totally snapped at me and was saying how it’s a full house and he understands that everyone is waiting and for me to just sit down. Then the older gentleman came up to start yelling at me more saying the customer had just called in and all I was trying to ask was how long should I expect to wait. I was completely ignored after that and ended up waiting over a half hour before dropping it.Don’t bite off more than you can chew and fill your restaurant up if you cannot handle the stress. Everyone in the line felt it and as a partner where I was trying to help them out I get barked at. Horrible horrible horrible.

HIGHLY recommend the Rigatoni Con Pollo Affumicato (smoked chicken with rigatoni in a cream sauce). It was incredible and we will be back specifically for that dish!! Huge portions which is great because we will get to reheat and enjoy our pasta again for lunch tomorrow. We had wonderful service and all the food from bread basket to Affogato was delicious.
