Yesterday was my first visit to Vigilante's Oceanside location. I've been to the College Park location in Maryland before, but this was my first time visiting on the West Coast. The cafe is beautiful. There was so much natural light, beautiful decor, and it was nice to be greeted with smiles when I walked in (you all have the coolest merch as well). Vigilante used to be one of my “go to” spots for espresso for years but the quality of the drinks has dropped like a rock. 3 visits in a row with friends and what we got was Starbucks quality incredibly hot milk based drinks that were undrinkable. The barista training that was the hallmark of Vigilante must now be non existent. Really sorry to lose this as an afternoon place to relax and enjoy a coffee.
I was in town visiting family and had driven past Vigilante several times until I decided to stop on in. AP was super friendly and fun to talk with and my vanilla latte was AMAZING! They also support first responders and military!
