They keep a dog in their kitchen.. not leashed. Dog walks in and out thru back door. They even put a cardboard in the back door so the dog wont go outside at times..Very very disgusting. This is a big health violation.

Really tiny scoops of fish (like 2 pieces per scoop), and very light on rice and toppings. Don't fill their small or large containers even 50%. A large (5 scoops) is $18 and equal to orher poke places size small in terms of fish. Kid wanted to charge me extra for green onions too šŸ™„

The older gentleman working on Tuesday 05/27/2025 at 4 p.m. was very nice and fast at making our poke bowls. Ingredients are always fresh. This is my go-to Poke spot. Definitely recommend giving it a tryšŸ‘Œ

Always very fresh tasting!

Very sparing on the base (white rice and salad), very sparing on proteins, waaaaay too much sauce. The proportions were way off. Not my fave.

Cute little spot with great smiles from the two serving me. Food was amazing! I was swinging by this city so maybe I'll make another stop.

So so good, my first time coming here and they have some really good sauces, as well as the pricing being unbeatable. Very nice staff as well. Might be my new fav spot!

everything was great except for the food, everything was mushy and soggy and not in a good way, i’ve tried so many poke places and i’ve liked all of them but this one i just couldn’t finish, super nice and clean environment though

Fresh and Delicious Hawaiian Poke in San Diego

For my first meal in San Diego, I chose Hawaiian poke, and it was the perfect choice! I had salmon and spicy tuna over brown rice, topped with avocado and spicy sauce. Every ingredient was incredibly fresh, and the flavors blended beautifully. The spicy sauce added a nice kick, making every bite even more enjoyable.

On top of that, the staff was very friendly, which made the experience even better. It was a fantastic way to start my trip, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh and delicious poke in San Diego!

The poke was just ok.

The worst part was the owner. He was incredibly rude to me: all I asked was for an extra box and he said he had to charge me for it.

I said no, I need a container.

Then he said: ā€œI already gave you a plateā€

So I said: ā€œDo you want me to just carry my food home on my plate? I have leftovers and need a carry out boxā€.

The owner started acting all confused since he didn’t want to give me a container. (ā€œI don’t understand, ect.ā€).

Guess I have to carry my food home on an open plate, despite being a paying customer and spending $20 mid poke. So I just threw it away. How else am I supposed to drive home with poke on an open paper plate???

Overall, he was very rude and abrasive. Felt super weird so I just walked out. I honestly didn’t know what to say. Never coming back here again, there’s better places with better poke and service. Ignore the owner at all costs!

This business which I was in when my granddaughter needed a toilet claimed they did not have one. As did you for 10 minutes until I found yours....Really?!
It could have been so easy, so helpful, and cast such a positive impression all around... and brought you new customers.
But no...wasting my time over....and over!

Update: ultimately we took my granddaughter outside to pee in the tress. Thx so much for leaving that traumatic memory with with a 3 year old girl for the rest of her life.
Per other inputs: There was no gas station immediately available. Immediate as in we could walk there in time for my Granddaughter not to have to pee in her pants.
This constituted an Emergency!...Thx so much for your kindness.

Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter was not allowed to use the restroom unless we purchased a Bowl

They required that my granddaughter who is 3 years old urinate in her underwear
