first time at the wrench and Road in or from New Jersey we get good sushi out here all the time this place takes it to another level. The food was amazing very fresh very unique, very creative. I wish I had this restaurant near us. Definitely be back if ever visiting again.

Love this neighborhood dining spot - creative, fresh, delicious, healthy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The eggplant special was awesome as was the Yakisoba and uni nigiri. Squash blossoms with spicy tuna too!!

We have been to The Wrench And Rodent many times. Every time it is excellent. This time was even more so being at the staff with people we knew and made us feel more than welcome. Needless to say the fish was fresh. The creativity in the plating was wonderful. Flavors were great This place hits a home run every time.

I've been to 20+ countries and eaten at many places. I can whole heartedly say this is a world class place the food is a million stars out of 5. Top 20 restaurant in the world imo. Don't miss it. Just do yourself a favor and get every roll

Had my birthday dinner here over the weekend and the food was fantastic. The hedgehog roll was great, and the swordfish was incredible. I was worried about the drinks since they don't have a full liquor license, but they were excellent. I'd been to another (more expensive) restaurant with a full bar earlier, and the drinks there were nowhere near as good. Love this place.

Food was legit, saw chef and told him so. Had all the specials. .twice! Service was fast and furious, seemed like as soon as we ordered, magic, items served almost immediately. Presentation exceptional. The dishes were inventive and creative, certainly an unexpected treat given the standard sushi fare at most Japanese restaurants.

We live an hour away from this location and we happily drive. We love ambience, the customer service but mostly the food. Excellent preparation and taste is phenomenal.

The service sucked. Slow and inattentive. The table next to us complained about it too. The rolls were ok, but the bread pudding was a congealed brick. If the service doesn't get better, I wouldn't go back, even if the meal was free.

The food was great, but the service was very inconsistent. Our order had some errors but then all dishes came out within a few minutes making it hard to relax and enjoy with the table completely packed. I'll stop there.

Great local sushi spot. Amazing vibe and fresh fish. The specials menu is always a nice little surprise and super innovative.

I had read so many good things about this place... sadly my experience did not match up to the hype. The meal started with a Chinese egg. So insanely dry, crumbly and salty I thought it was a mistake. Instantly my palette for the evening was assaulted. Following that was the single bright spot, the fried tuna cheek. This was incredible. Oily, hot and finger licking flavor. Next up was the rolls. Holiday in Cambodia and Green Lantern. Both were unfortunately flavorless outside of the menus glowing description. The Chimichurri was basically green water. The garlic on the Holiday roll was the only flavor that actually registered. Thank goodness these flavorless rolls were wildly overpriced. Sarcasm.... Oh, at least the cocktails were tiny and overpriced too. Consistent. The patio had the makings of charming, but was musty and and literally like someone's unkept backyard. Kinda a mess... This place is a reluctant hard pass. I love Herb & Sea in Enci so I had high hopes. Oh, well.

I could describe the excellent service or just how perfect the food was or I could just say....Awesome!!!!

Beautiful fresh nigiri with summer fresh sauces kept my attention through all 6 courses. We did Omakase + a few of the dry aged specials + dessert & that was the way to go. Left completely satisfied! 11/10
