Sushi Yukiya has always been one of Our Family’s favorite Japanese Restaurant in Oceanside. Every single dish is wonderful. The service is the Best, the atmosphere is calming, relaxing, and flowing. We were all laughing throughout our meal and having a great time for my son’s birthday celebration. It’s the best place ever!

The place is a bit run down but the food is good. The staff we have encountered is friendly with the exception of one woman who was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Very clean 👌 restaurant to go eat with the family. Food wise, they have a variety 😋 of options even 2 different meals
Sushi rolls caused me to get sick. Sulfur like gastrointestinal issues. This was the only food I had after my 24 hour fast. So I knew I caught a bug here. Side note: Flat soda and was never given another refill.

The service is awful once your order is taken the only time you see your waitress is when it’s time for the check. Food is okay but they skimp on salmon and shrimp and put mostly imitation crab. Manager is argumentative as seen by this reply and how she handled our food and experience.

We went here last night with a group of 8 adults. The food was good and everything seemed to be going well until about halfway through the meal when the chair my 84 old grandpa was sitting on suddenly collapsed underneath him. My grandpa fell to the ground but seemed to be okay before slowly standing back up. The owners were both working and came over to replace his chair but then left and that was it. There was no “I’m so sorry” or “are you okay” or “can I get you anything”. In fact, my grandpa hit his elbow and was bleeding and we had to ASK for a napkin. At the end of our meal they brought ice cream “on the house” but that was the extent of their concern. When the bill came we thought they might apologize and offer to compensate part of the meal especially as my grandpa was the one who paid it but they did nothing. It was very odd and disappointing. I will not be going back.
