Food quality is extremely low, store bought nan and then burnt, blan food.Staff don't know menu or even what the kind of food it is. Would be a great place to have in town but value and quality of both food and service is non-existent.

Ojai is such a lovely spot…full of spirituality and conscious living (drab) or rather this establishment that boast of spicy food and meat eating!Meat eating. Really! That too from far off not knowing what where when like a broken history lessons or…Photos says it all sometimes. Empty empty and dumpty. The Mexican server was polite and seemed fed up. She is a great add on otherwise the owners(next door) wouldn’t hire no one else or else.

Has both casual American and traditional Indian food. Good food and great service. Great place for the family to eat. Tell Ruben and Yvonne 'hi!' Enjoy :))

I normally don’t publicly out small locally owned restaurants but I’ve been sick for two days after eating there. Some of the absolute worst Indian food I’ve ever had… really low quality, no flavor other than salt and the rice smelled like cigarettes. Will never return.

Picked up a take out dinner for my son's 19th pre-Birthday dinner and Wow, what an authentic, real deal this is. This will be our new go to whenever we're in Ojai. The Aloo Gobi was so good I can't wait to get more! The Shahi Paneer - well, I only tasted it as I'm lactose intolerant, but it had this mild spice to it that made it perfect. We love this place and can't wait to return!

I heard they are not following mask requirements. Won’t go until they do.

Food is ok. Service need to be improved. No cutlery for take out food.

Good food and a much needed Indian food restaurant.

Enjoyed a great Indian lunch at A-1 yesterday. Fish curry meal (with lentil dal, poppadom, garlic naan), chicken biryani and hot chai tea. They are working hard to get staff levels up to match the customer demand so be patient and/or come off hours. Great add to the area and we'll be back.

Finally we have an Indian Restaurant in our valley. The same family that had a take out place for years in the 90s has opened up a new sit down place across the street from their market in Meiners Oaks. The menu offers both American fare and traditional Indian dishes. Come support Ravi and his family. The food is delicious and the prices reasonable.
