We stayed at the lovely Lavender Inn and went to Nocciola for dinner. When we saw the very limited ( and overpriced) menu at Nocciola ($72 for a steak- really?) we left and went to Sakura at the recommendation of the Inn. It was great! Low key vibe with many selections and all delicious- tuna was very fresh and service was friendly and very efficient. Since it was my husband’s birthday they served him a delicious dessert. Fun, excellent experience.

Some pretty terrible sushi. The kind that makes your tummy feel both unsettled and confused. Sashimi not fresh. Spicy rolls were warm and had the consistency of raw hamburger meat. Tempura batted veggies were bland. Pot-stickers bland AND overdone. Service was attentive and friendly - and generally ignorant about the menu, which was confusing and kind of misleading.
