I work for a local ambulance service. I had ordered a combo meal @11:15am on DoorDash for pick up and expected to be ready @11:37am, unfortunately we got a call and needed to respond. I got back to station at 12:40 about an hour later I went inside got my order and visibly saw that the food was soggy and we all know that a soda that’s sitting for an hour won’t be good anymore either. I kindly asked the cook if it can be remade and the reason. That I picked it up late was because we had a emergency to respond to. He was kind and gladly started to remake it. I want to say thank you to the cook. The reason I’m giving a bad review is about the store manager was serving the food. At the time I didn’t get his name but I did ask over the phone for a first name and last name they are saying his name is Oscar but will not give his last name? The store manager will not give his last name? I will describe him how I see it (Mexican with facial scaring from acne) started to speak in Spanish to the cook, he was enraged he started to shake his head in disbelief, started to THROW all the food out on the table and decided to give me dirty looks….he then said something about us ambulance drivers. While I believe we are normal people with a duty to act on emergency situations we don’t believe in special treatment…it’s a rainy day and I just wanted a warm meal after being out in the rain.

The atmosphere quickly did not feel okay it felt more tense and I did not feel welcomed.

Once the manager got my food he practically just shoved my food on table and quickly walked off. I really wanted to talk to him about why he was acting as such I don’t think it was professional for him to act that way when it’s not his money or his own business.

Does remaking 1 sandwich really a big deal for him?

I got my food and I said thank you so much to the cook that remade my food and thank you to the cooks that never made it a big deal unlike the server I’m not sure if he’s a manager or if he just has this attitude towards everyone.

I want to suggest this place but there too many issues with the food & consistency! Most of time certain items are not there as requested. I was missing an item today & the burger was not done well!

I usually just get a standard char burger with extra grilled onions and french fries. I think the qualities is probably a little higher than In-N-Out. The burgers seem less covered in salt at the habit which I prefer.

Best burgers in the valley. Friendly staff. They have chicken, healthy salads, onion rings, fries, etc.
I hope they bring back their tempura Avocado wedges! Those were amazing!

I came here after reading the tragic 1-star reviews written by people who apparently believed The Habit was a five-course Parisian tasting menu with violinists and hand-massaged Wagyu. Imagine their shock when they walked into… a fast-food restaurant. With… brace yourself… fast-food prices written in giant letters on the wall. Truly a plot twist worthy of Hollywood.

Let me break it down for all future critics who come here expecting Gordon Ramsay to leap out the back and personally sear their burger:

“It’s too expensive!”
My guy… they literally wrote the numbers in giant print. You walked in anyway. That’s not a price problem. That’s a you problem.

“Service wasn’t perfect!”
Yes, Karen, the minimum-wage teenager juggling online orders, drive-thru, in-store customers, and five people asking for extra ranch did NOT provide you with a silver platter and foot rub. Astonishing. Someone alert the United Nations.

“My food didn’t look like the picture!”
Right. Because everyone knows McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, and every fast-food place ever created serves photo-shoot-quality cuisine every time. This is clearly the first restaurant in history to break that sacred rule.

Here’s the truth:
The Habit gives exactly what it promises — a damn good charburger, served by people doing their best in a hectic job none of these crybaby reviewers could survive for more than 14 seconds.

If you want perfection, linen napkins, and life-changing enlightenment, go spend $48 on a single salad somewhere else. If you want a legit good burger made by hardworking humans… then The Habit is right here, glowing like a lighthouse guiding the lost and overly dramatic back to reality.

Five stars.
Minus zero for the comedians who think Yelp is a therapy session.

Nicely designed venue but don't know what all the fuss is about with The Habit...highly overrated, did not even get an average burger here. Finally decided to try it out & it was disappointing...the messy-est burger ever, falling apart before I was halfway through, so messy I could not even taste the meat.

Spent 35 dollars on food and they wanted charge .60 cents for a side of ranch, I guess the franchise is doing so bad they have to squeeze all they can out of Customers?

Ordered the avocado wedges, they are NOT wedges of avocado, they are probably some sort of mashed up mix of avocado and who knows what else. They are horrible! Ordered a Santa Barbara Cobb salad, it had no romaine, 5 pieces (very small) of chicken and two clumps of sliced cheese (they hadn't bothered to spread the pieces of cheese out). No hard boiled eggs, that was probably ok because they likely wouldn't have been good. Actually a waste of money.
Sad to see this new place offering subpar food. There were lots of people working there, but really not many customers.

The food is great, but the service needs work.
The manager looks like he doesn't like to be asked menu questions.

Geez, so much complaining! I think people just look for the negative. I love this place and I’ve had nothing but fantastic experiences.

While eating my charburger I found a piece of plastic wrapping of some sort inside my burger! I’ve loved habit but after this I’m absolutely disgusted by this experience and don’t think I will come here ever again.
