Osteria Monte Grappa, located in downtown Ojai, offers excellent meals and a charming ambiance. The halibut is perfectly cooked, accompanied by roasted potatoes and a vegetable medley. The Ciopinno is piping hot and loaded with seafood, served with delicious toasted bread. Homemade ravioli, flatbread, and caprese salad are incredible options. The restaurant provides a nice wine list and great indoor or outdoor dining options. The service is excellent, with friendly and efficient staff, and the outdoor seating offers a beautiful, very Ojai atmosphere. Guests recommend sitting outside if possible for the best ambiance. The bruschetta is very good—perfectly toasted, fresh, and garlicky. The pasta dishes, such as Rosa alla fettuccine and pesto pasta with vegetables and walnuts, are flavorful and decadent, though some find the seasoning light and the pasta slightly hard. The seafood pasta and scallops are cooked to perfection. The restaurant is a nice hidden spot in the center of downtown Ojai with an open yet cozy setup. The service is attentive, and the drinks like mocktails are good. The restaurant is changing ownership soon, but visitors hope the high-quality service will stay the same. Overall, Osteria Monte Grappa is highly recommended for its top-notch food, great service, and lovely setting.
