Claims from New Mexico. . Maybe they should eat in Sanra Fe NM. The chili tastes like it's from Tommies burger...BAD...NOT AUTHENTIC.

I love this place! Went here after taking kids to park one evening. I am gluten intolerant so eating out can be depressing…they have so many amazing options for my fellow Celiac peeps…and the food is fresh and delicious not greasy and highly processed. This place is a gem
I've been an avid traveler for 10+ years and had the full range of dining experiences. This was one of my two worst dining experiences of all time. The other was unfortunately also in Ojai (Harvest Moon).
Server was completely inept, seemingly forgetting about us as soon as he sat us. We were sitting for 20-30 minutes before even ordering our food, and that was after I flagged the server down (after at least 3-4 attempts while he obliviously busied himself rearranging tables and folding napkins).
The food was mediocre for the high price, and not authentically New Mexican at all.
Skip this place. Unfortunately I'm not sure you'll get better service at many other places in downtown Ojai. I recommend packing a lunch.

Really yummy food !! I've been a few times now and always enjoy the alcoholic drinks! The sopas are probably my fave but the burrito are also yum and the people ive gone with say good things about their meal. Very cute inside too.

I really wanted to like this place, however I had probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had here. The staff was EXTREMELY rude. When we arrived they let us know the kitchen would be opening in 15 minutes… an hour later we asked if they knew when the kitchen would open and they were extremely rude and dismissive. We then realized the other people who sat down at the same time as us had already ordered their food and was eating, so we nicely asked why we weren’t able to order. They essentially told us it wasn’t their problem and they don’t control who can order when. I have never been treated worse at an establishment. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone driving through Ojai.

Six of us came here for lunch because the Nest was so busy, and we are sorry we did. Two of the stews were barely warm and my meal was totally undercooked. All meals were lacking flavor. We brought this to the server's and manager's attention and neither seemed to care, only to be made worse by the server's condescending attitude. If this was my restaurant I would never be okay with three out of six meals being served sub-par and knowingly let dissatisfied customers leave without so much as an apology. And btw, lunch for six with one beer each was over $250 We definitely will not be back and won’t recommend to friends.

The restaurant is clean and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. Relaxing music plays in the background so you don't have to yell to speak with your friends. The food was fresh, colorful, and delicious and served efficiently! The fish tacos had a good amount of mild fish and the blue corn sopes popped with the flavors of corn, beans, avocado, and pickled onion. Definitely give this place a try next time you're looking for a bite in Ojai.

Cute New Mexican restaurant on the main strip in Ojai. It’s small inside with 3 tables and about 8 bar seats. The food is excellent and great drinks. It’s not a “fancy” place but is upscale versus other similar food places in Ojai focused on Mexican / south western. The bar would be a great place to get a drink. Also a great lunch spot with takeout.
Parking: Free parking in the street. Might need to use a nearby side street. Lot behind the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheel chair access given 1st floor

Found this cute Mexican Restaurant on the edge of the Shopping district in Ojai, and it has some amazing food. The highlight of the restaurant is the homebrewed coffee and the blue corn chips with mild/medium salsa (also handmade); all fresh. The Enchiladas and Tres Sopas was well presented and I love the colourful flavours.Dining outside during a beautiful sunny day added to the perfect occasion.

Finally had a chance to have lunch here and it did NOT disappoint. Beautiful, comfortable patio space. Delicious craft cocktails, and really tasty sopapilla (braised pork) & stacked enchiladas (chicken), also very good customer service all the way through. Thank you x2! We'll be back!
