We had a very nice experience here yesterday at lunch. The food was yummy and the service was spot on.

I really wanted to like this place, however I had probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had here. The staff was EXTREMELY rude. When we arrived they let us know the kitchen would be opening in 15 minutes… an hour later we asked if they knew when the kitchen would open and they were extremely rude and dismissive. We then realized the other people who sat down at the same time as us had already ordered their food and was eating, so we nicely asked why we weren’t able to order. They essentially told us it wasn’t their problem and they don’t control who can order when. I have never been treated worse at an establishment. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone driving through Ojai.

Six of us came here for lunch because the Nest was so busy, and we are sorry we did. Two of the stews were barely warm and my meal was totally undercooked. All meals were lacking flavor. We brought this to the server's and manager's attention and neither seemed to care, only to be made worse by the server's condescending attitude. If this was my restaurant I would never be okay with three out of six meals being served sub-par and knowingly let dissatisfied customers leave without so much as an apology. And btw, lunch for six with one beer each was over $250 We definitely will not be back and won’t recommend to friends.

The restaurant is clean and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. Relaxing music plays in the background so you don't have to yell to speak with your friends. The food was fresh, colorful, and delicious and served efficiently! The fish tacos had a good amount of mild fish and the blue corn sopes popped with the flavors of corn, beans, avocado, and pickled onion. Definitely give this place a try next time you're looking for a bite in Ojai.

I've been to Tres Hermanas twice and even though the first time was not a home run (it was shortly after they opened), the second time was good enough and enough of an improvement that I'm giving them five stars. The Elote Chopped Salad was strangely not chopped the first time (pictured here) but the second time the flavor was stronger and it was indeed chopped. The patio is prime outdoor Ojai relaxation heaven.

I ordered the fish tacos and coated chips. The chips were tossed in the sauce which is so confusing, because I don't understand why anyone would want to eat soggy chips - and how do you eat soggy chips? With your hands?? I had to use a fork. The fish tacos were mediocre, the worst part being the "guacamole" which clearly looked processed and squeezed out from a tube. The service was kind, though, so I'll give them that. However, there are SO many awesome Mexican restaurants in Ojai and this place is not one of them. I won't be back.

So just checked out this cozy restaurant in Ojai - such a great vibe. They have indoor dining and a large patio. We were just wanting drinks and some snacks. This review is really all about the amazing prickly pear margarita, I'm low key obsessed with this drink- so good. We also shared two delicious salads. Definitely recommend if you're in Ojai and you want a fun vibe and an awesome margarita.

The Frito pie with the chili beans made from scratch was delicious. Our server was very attentive. Nice vibes.

This charming restaurant serves New Mexican food which is basically Mexican food with a regional twist. And it's absolutely delicious. I wanted to try every single item on the food menu and nearly all of the items on the cocktail/booze menu. They even have mezcal and tequila flights. That is reason enough for a trip back to Ojai. Frito Pie is basically a junk food dish, albeit a comforting, delicious one, but the chili they use here is terrific. It absolutely elevates this dish beyond just very tasty junk. The Green Chile Stew was deeply flavorful and very filling. It's wonderful. The Sopaipilla, served with red or green sauce or Christmas style (both sauces), is a beautiful dish and fantastically flavorful. I also tried the Prickly Pear Margarita because I will always order a Prickly Pear Margarita whenever I see one on a menu and it was very nice and not too sweet. Why this place doesn't have all five star reviews is a complete mystery to me. The service was great and the food was outstanding. Seating inside and out, on a nice patio. They do get very crowded so be prepared to wait during busy times.

This is our new favorite restaurant in Ojai. The chili is the best restaurant made chili we have had and the green chile chicken is outstanding. The service was friendly and attentive and the outside patio was perfect for dining with our dog. Also, really appreciated the designated "gluten free" and plentiful options.

I have eaten at Tres Hermanas a few times before but today I have decided the food is pretty bad. The vegan pozole was very acidic not much hominy. The popular New Mexican food is made with oregano and not cilantro. It's a dish that is difficult to ruin. I ordered the dessert sopapilla as a side. Again hard to ruin. The bread was flat and lacked puffed and they charged $11. I was so happy when Tres Hermanas opened but I can make posole and sopapillas for a fraction of the cost and it would be delicious. I hope they get a new chef and start over. I believe this restaurant doesn't care and is more like a bar. I won't be back. Ever.

Cute New Mexican restaurant on the main strip in Ojai. It’s small inside with 3 tables and about 8 bar seats. The food is excellent and great drinks. It’s not a “fancy” place but is upscale versus other similar food places in Ojai focused on Mexican / south western. The bar would be a great place to get a drink. Also a great lunch spot with takeout.Parking: Free parking in the street. Might need to use a nearby side street. Lot behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheel chair access given 1st floor

Found this cute Mexican Restaurant on the edge of the Shopping district in Ojai, and it has some amazing food. The highlight of the restaurant is the homebrewed coffee and the blue corn chips with mild/medium salsa (also handmade); all fresh. The Enchiladas and Tres Sopas was well presented and I love the colourful flavours.Dining outside during a beautiful sunny day added to the perfect occasion.

Finally had a chance to have lunch here and it did NOT disappoint. Beautiful, comfortable patio space. Delicious craft cocktails, and really tasty sopapilla (braised pork) & stacked enchiladas (chicken), also very good customer service all the way through. Thank you x2! We'll be back!
